Introduction: Hi there! My name is Marissa and I am a licensed and trained cosmetologist. Located in Everett, MA. Previous experience includes 3 years of employment at a style bar specializing in blowouts, nails, and makeup. I have experience working with clients for different occasions including weddings, proms, professional media appearances, baby showers, and more. I have the flexibility to travel to different locations (no travel fee within 20 miles of Everett). I require a non-refundable deposit paid via Square Invoice to secure your date/time. This deposit will be applied to your final payment. Once your deposit is received, your appointment will be confirmed.

Marissa took care of me for a wedding I was in over the past summer. When I told her all that I needed, she was very responsive and worked with me to make me look (and feel) my best. Marissa offered me a trial for hair and makeup before the wedding, and also waxed my brows. I gave her reference pictures and she was able to take those ideas, but adjust them to look good for my face shape. My brows came out the best they ever have, and it didn't hurt as bad as it normally does. The day of the wedding, Marissa did a phenomenal blow out & style, as well as my makeup. It lasted all night, and got many compliments throughout the night. She was on time, dressed professionally, and was a positive experience for all that day. I could not recommend Marissa enough!

Marissa and her assistant Vanessa were top notch!! Everyone in the wedding party looked and felt amazing. My skin is very sensitive and Marissa’s products didn’t affect my skin in the least. She picked great color palates for everyone that complimented our dresses, and personal styles. I am pretty picky when it comes to professional makeup artists, and I was more than impressed and pleased with Marissa. As far as everyone’s hair was concerned, I think I might have been even more impressed than I was with the makeup services. My mom was a hairstylist for over 50 years and so I’m also very picky in that department as well lol, and both Marissa and Vanessa impressed me. My hair looked awesome, it didn’t feel like I had a million pounds of product in it, and it would have held up until the next day if I hadn’t taken it down that evening. Overall I’d give Marissa a definite 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing, I will most definitely use her services again, and would recommend her to anyone. Thank you Marissa for helping everyone in my sisters wedding party look and feel beautiful for her big day!!!! Gina M.

One word to describe Marissa: AMAZING! I flew in from LA for my engagement party in Boston and didn't have anyone who could do my hair and makeup. I found Marissa on Thumbtack and am so glad I did! I didn't have a clear idea as to what hair style I wanted because I couldn't find a dress for the life of me. It wasn't until the last minute that I actually found the perfect dress. In the meantime, I was in touch with Marissa regularly and told her I was thinking of beach waves and/or a high pony (depending on the dress). Even though we were virtual, she took the time to FaceTime me, look at my hair type/color and make recommendations on the type of ponytail. She ordered it just to be on the safe side. While we didn't end up going with the ponytail look, she blow dried my (curly) hair straight as agreed and said she could always add it after if I wasn't happy with how my hair looked. I loved how flexible (and patient) she was. My house was completely chaotic that day with vendors coming in and out - she kept telling me to take my time and handle what I needed to take care of. Even though she only came to do my hair and make up, she left the whole day open for me. I asked her if she'd be willing to do my sister and mom's hair (even though that wasn't part of the plan) and she stuck around to do it. Marissa was so awesome that day - I HAD to ask her to stick around, enjoy some drinks and something to eat to show my appreciation. I would hire Marissa again in a heartbeat!

Marissa and her partner Vanessa came to my house to surprise my best friend on her 30th birthday. They did hair and makeup for 4 of us, and absolutely crushed it! They were right on time, they were super professional, but we’re personable and laughed with us, like we’ve known them forever. We all loved how our hair came out and the makeup was amazing! Would definitely hire them again. Thank you Marissa for helping my friend have the best night ever! Also! The payment was so easy! I talked to Marissa about what i wanted to do, then put down a simple deposit when I booked, and the rest was paid via Square invoice. Adding tip was easy too! Love it! Thank you again!
