FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies depending on work to be performed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
THE WALKTHRU: During this time we will walk around the different areas of your home so that I can ask you some questions and vice versa that may be of concern to you. During this time I will be taking notes of these concerns so that I know exactly what you are looking for as well as the different options that are available to you whether it is resolving an issue or just upgrading. The first 15 minutes of the walk through is spent with you the homeowner, and the next 30 minutes I do a walk through usually alone so that I can take notes and specific details of what the scope of work entails. The last 15 minutes of the walk through is spent going over with you anything and everything about the task at hand. If there is anyone else in the home that may have an input please make sure that they are available on the specified date and time of the walk thru.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a Vocational training program at the Westover Job Corps where I would spend the next one and a half years in 1991-1992. There I earned my GED and learn the carpentry trade. While I was there I learned wood framing, concrete form work, metal stud framing, window and door installation, siding, roofing, roof framing, blue print reading, insulation, and drywall(sheet rock) just to name a few.
