Elain, I just wanted to say how great it is to walk into the house after you have cleaned. The house smells great, the kitchen sink sparkles and everything just looks wonderful. Work is thorough and meticulous. In addition to the usual chores, she picks up additional cleaning, such as window sills, occasionally on her own. Communication is an issue, but we use google for English to Portuguese translation and she uses the same for Portuguese to English - so we get by. She is careful in handling things - never broke anything in my house in past 4 years she had been working with me. She is quite accommodating of additional requests.
