Introduction: Experienced voice teacher of 10+ years holding a MM degree from the New England Conservatory and BM from Berklee College of Music. I have taught and developed curriculum for voice masterclasses across the globe, from Panama Jazz Festival to Voice Teachers’ Conference in China, while being an active performer and composer. Since I have discovered online teaching last year I have taught more than 700 remote voice and music theory/songwriting lessons.
When joining my voice studio you are entering an international community of vocalists. Every three months my students from all around the world meet for a virtual recital followed by a reception. Each student focuses on a different musical style and interprets the songs in their own creative way - be it musical theatre, pop, indie, folk, or CCM. My expertise is in jazz and songwriting, and so if the students are interested, they are encouraged to write their own songs and learn to improvise. This is best done with piano practice tracks which I frequently record for my students since I am a pianist as well.
