The Hiking Hounds

Trying to get your dog out in the wilderness rather than a walk around the neighborhood? The Hiking Hounds is the perfect place for your dog. We take on multiple different hiking trails giving your dog a new experience on every walk! We also make it a huge focus to maintain general trail manners and awareness to other hikers we encounter. Quality over quantity is our number one goal with Hiking Hounds, we max 4 dogs per hike to make sure every dog gets the attention they deserve! Safety is key for the dogs in my care during hikes. We never let our hikers meet other dogs on trail just for the safety of our own pack. As a handler I always have a way to defer an off leash dog that isn’t apart of our pack and keep on moving! I’ve been in the dog industry for 10 years and wanted to do something different for local pups in my area to explore new places!
