Kate was the best thing that happened to my resume! Not only did Kate review and return my resume within the hour that I submitted it, she provided ongoing support and professional advice during my job search. I have found that being "In-between jobs" or unemployed can be emotionally frustrating or depressing. Not very often do you find someone that genuinely cares and wants to help during this period. Even though Kate and I did not meet in person, I could feel her positivity, motivation, and smile though her emails. Even after my resume was polished, Kate went above and beyond by coaching me through interviews and giving me "pep talks". Kate is a great coach that I would refer to everyone, even my friends out of state.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was helping someone who had been out of work for quite some time and was about to run out of unemployment. We worked together on his resume, interview skills, and targeted the areas he was wanting to apply to. We set up some information interviews with different companies he wanted to get into to build up his network. He joined a society that allowed him to go to networking activities and meet different people in the industry he was wanting to get into. And about 30 days after we sat down together and worked through these things he had landed himself a job with one of the companies on his "wish list." That was so rewarding, not only to help this individual land one of his dream jobs, but to help overcome the anxiety and the pressure that comes along with being unemployed.
