FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Can you get a professional website for less? No...... There are three ways of getting a website, hiring a large website design company, a Do-It Yourself/Monthly Pay Website, or a Small Business Person like yourself. Large Website Design Company These companies have high overhead that is passed on to you, rent, employees and advertising etc. Then they use high end customized software, this is great if you have a big company and want custom graphics, creative writing, photo shoots, or want flash pages. However, if you are a small business you will pay an average of $3000 for their website design, and then pay a hosting and maintenance fee from $200 per month and up. Do-It Yourself Website There are three problems with going this route with companies such as Verizon, Intuit or Yellowbook. There is no up front cost, but the monthly cost (around)$50 month, means in three years you paid $1800 for your website and it keeps going up forever! Second it doesn't look professional, it's a cookie cutter design, people see the difference, do you want a cheap looking site? You also need SEO work for your website to be found on a search. If you dont do the right Search Engine Optimization its like buying a car with no wheels.
