FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI). We have yearly educational conferences to go over the latest trends and changes in technology. We also have competitions throughout the year in print and album design. This keeps us pushing on towards the next level.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Being a photographer requires a lot of serious time and dedication. You are never paying a photographer simply for the hours they spend photographing you or your event. I always spend the time to get to know my clients and get a feel for what they are looking for. Yes, I may have my own style and techniques, but the final product belongs to you. It should be what YOU want. The wishes of my clients are key. I express these wishes whenever I meet with assistants or anyone else that will interact with a client on my behalf. Additionally we spend hours perfecting images after any event or photo session. We go through a process called "pretouching" where we go through all basic retouching. Anything additional is done at the clients request. We also spend a lot of time on album design as well as additional fine art projects.
