So let me start this review about the pricing. I was quoted $29. Its $299/10 sessions and then afterward they hike the prices way up (around $70+ per session depending on which "package" you choose). When I was still talking to Regis on Thumbtack, I asked multiple times about the pricing and it was ignored. I only figure this out after I signed up so be aware of this first of all. I originally met with Regis for training. He was very friendly and I never had huge any issues. I wasn't necessarily blown away by his training (I was basically doing everything we did in our workouts together on my own); however, it kept me accountable to meet with him a few times a week and weigh in weekly. I assumed he was going to be my trainer since we established our relationship, but the company hired a new guy, Eric a.k.a. "Major", so I was pawned off. I really didn't appreciate the quick switch but I know that things happen and the company needed more employees. Eric had apparently been watching Jillian Michael's tapes prior to training me the first time because he pushed me so hard I nearly collapsed. I understand some trainers are much tougher than others but he was out of control. I was on the verge of throwing up and passing out but he kept pushing me. When I tried to take a minute to breathe and have a sip of water, he told me that when I was "resting" I needed to be doing wall sits instead of nothing. He certainly kicked me in gear the first time but I figured maybe he was going in guns ablaze to see what I could handle and then would ease up. After the first session with Eric, he did a complete turn around. He was uninterested in being with me while training. He spent nearly the whole hour on his phone, only looking up when it was time for me to do another exercise. He had very vulgar music playing and when I made a comment about it, he said it was supposed to "pump me up" but didn't change it. He cancelled 2 sessions with me, one due to a child's birthday party and the other with no reason. He was difficult to get ahold of and nearly impossible to schedule meetings with because he always had "prior commitments"... NOT EVEN OTHER CLIENTS! I didn't appreciate his attitude as if I was inferior for being out of shape or having an opinion on my training. Also, I was never given a meal plan as quoted. Regis only went over my MFP entries, and Eric never even bothered. Honestly, I have 2 sessions remaining with this company and will never fulfill them. Regis has texted me a few times to follow up and I left them ignored because I do not feel comfortable with the company anymore. It was a waste of my money and time to work with them, and have sense found a better, more available and compassionate trainer (who was upfront about his pricing too- added bonus).Aug 25, 2016Verified
Very good service! I have been training with Regis since 3 weeks ago. Its been pleasure. He is always looking for challenging me during my workouts. He's very customer service oriented and easy to approach.Feb 12, 2016Verified
