I needed someone to cut down and remove 3 large overgrown hedges. Dave called me right away to followup on his quote, and came over the same day to take a look at the job. He's prompt, polite, and most importantly, honest. After finishing the work, he said it hadn't taken as long as he originally thought - so I had him take care of something else while he was there. When's the last time a contractor was that honest with you? I've already referred Dave to a friend, and will definitely use him again. Thanks, Dave!

I contacted Dave from Siegel Chainsaw Service through Thumbtack.com and had him come to my property multiple times for tree cutting and stump grinding. Some of the trees were so large I couldn't wrap my arms around them - probably 30" diameter. He dropped them centered between obstacles (house, cars, garage) exactly where we planned them to fall, using a truck with a tug line to guarantee where they would fall. He works quickly, whether he is on the ground or 80 feet up in a tree, and his rates are very competitive for my location. He is my go-to source for all tree work and I highly recommend him.

David did an incredible job removing a huge portion of a damaged oak tree. He was very easy to communicate with, thoughtful with how to approach the precarious job, and worked incredibly hard until it was all cleaned up. I would highly recommend Siegel Chainsaw Service.
