Jess has done a wonderful job with our dog Jewel. In 4 short weeks she has made it possible to comfortably walk our dog around the neighborhood. Prior to her help, our dog would pull us around the block and bark at any dog or person in her way. Now she is calm and controlled. Jess goes the extra mile- she shows up early and leaves late for every session. She has a vast knowledge of dog behavior and products. We love what she has been able to do thus far and look forward to what she is able to do for us in the future!Jun 16, 2019Verified
She is 100% about what is best for the dog and what we can do to help the dog achieve what we are aiming for. Our first impression of Jessie was kind and very focused on our dog to make sure she was happy and trusting of her. I could not recommend anyone higher. Truly a blessings to have found herJun 23, 2019Verified
Great experience. Significant progress in two sessions. My dog loves to work and Jessica really brings it out of him. Can’t wait to go back every Sunday.Feb 25, 2019Verified
We’re on our third private session with Jess and are really happy we hired her! Our 4 month old beagle/hound is bundle of energy and very stubborn, but Jess has a way with him and he adores her. And more importantly, he listens to her and we’re all learning together. Jess is doing a great job helping me (a first time dog owner) to become a more confident dog owner and while also helping our puppy learn the right behavior. We look forward to more lessons with Jess and are very happy to be working with her!Aug 3, 2018Verified
Haven’t started training yet. I hired her for her knowledge and experience in training dogs. So easy to talk to. Answered all my questions.Jun 25, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My fees are lower then most dog trainers in my area. The reason why the pricing is so low is because I know how it feels not to be able to afford dog training for your dog. I have a Newfoundland who is very reactive to a number of things such as cars, other dogs or any animal and food aggression. I went to various places and had a hard time paying for the group training sessions, never mind the one on one trainings. I started my business to be able to provide dog owners with training that was affordable and centered around building a relationship around trust. I charge $45 IF cancellation occurs after consultation. This is due to time and travel.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? If a someone is interested in training they would just need to contact me my phone or email letting me know you are interested in a class. Then we talk about what type of class and find a good date and time that works for you. Once thats set i will email you an application to fill out and bring to class with you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went to Animal Behavoral College to become a certified dog trainer. I spent my hands on training working with the dogs in the rescue leagues in MA.
