We worked with Richard on our divorce agreement and proceedings. He was excellent to work with, made both of us feel comfortable with the high stress issues we were dealing with. Handled all the paperwork and made it so our day in court was a breeze. Overall excellent experience especially since its not a hard topic (divorce). I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an attorney or mediator.
Rachel did a great job mediating my divorce and even tolerated dealing with my ex's extreme demands. She found a way to be impartial but still rational.
I have known Ben Stich for over 10 years. I can attest to his ability to help his clients reach their fullest potential individually and in their relationships. He is extremely insightful in understanding the core challenges in those he helps. His tremendous ability to communicate effectively while showing great empathy helps him be very successful in his role within Mediation and Family Services. I recommend him in the highest regards. Working with Mass Divorce Mediation Group was a pleasure. Everything went as smooth and fast as you would hope . Stan was quick to respond to any questions and very professional. I would recommend Mdmg, to anyone looking to go the Mediation route.
Josh helped me with my divorce. He is very knowledgeable about divorce in Massachusetts and saved us lots of time and money. He is a skilled mediator, although our situation was not that difficult. We have since filed for divorce and everything went smooth. I highly recommend Josh and his firm, MWI.
Jody is a compassionate and caring mediator. She’s knowledgeable about all the issues that you need to discuss when you are separating. She created an environment that made the negotiation easier during such a difficult time. She helped us create a parenting plan that worked for us and our 3 children.
Jill has helped me with several legal matters. She has extensive knowledge of the law and I was extremely satisfied with her work ethic and professionalism. I have also recommended several friends and colleagues to her for mediation services, all who have been very satisfied. I highly recommend her.
While my divorce was an amicable one, there were still some hard decisions to make and difficult conversations. Betsy helped us navigate all of our decisions with patience and grace, and diffused the few unpleasant moments we had by bringing us back to our common goals - a reminder to both of us of what we were trying to accomplish, especially our longer-term objectives. Betsy stayed calm and professional in all instances and had a wonderful way of guiding the conversation without leading it. She helped set each meeting's agenda, always encouraging each of us to add or change the agenda to meet our personal needs. She also moved us through the process at a pace that was comfortable for the two of us - not an easy feat since my ex and I process information and decisions at very different speeds! We were, however, surprised at the cost of the mediation sessions and overall amount of charges, but I believe Betsy's fees are reasonable and competitive with her peers. This is not a quick process and can be complicated with the amount of paperwork and support documents needed to divorce, and Betsy did encourage us to do some of the admin work on our own to help keep costs down, which was appreciated. She was a thought partner steering us through a painful process but helped us keep our friendship in tact. She wore many hats for us in this process and did it with style, poise and kindness. I recommend her services without hesitation.
Hired Rachel for a family dispute. She settled the case within three months for full amount. Awesome, I would hire her again if ever I needed to.
My background includes countless divorce mediations, international business negotiations, Investments, financial planning, real estate aquisition and development. I enjoy helping people work through and resolve their conflicts. I find it very satisfying to guide my clients through the divorce process and focus on where they want to be and not ruminate on the past. Having gone through my own divorce, I'm keenly aware of minimizing the financial burden, which mediation does, reducing the negative impact to children while empowering my clients with an alternative method to work through their disagreements and come to a mutually agreeable resolution.

KATE FANGER has been mediating professionally since 2008 and opened Kate Fanger Mediation (KFM) in Somerville in 2010. KFM provides a variety of services including divorce mediation, conflict/ communication coaching, marriage mediation, elder mediation, professional mentoring, and communication coaching for parents & teens. She is a former vice president on the Board of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, and a former Editor of the Family Mediation Quarterly, (FMQ) for which she also authored a column on language: “How Can You Say That?” a topic she also offers as a workshop. I enjoy the creative problem-solving mediation requires, and being a resource for families in transition, setting them up to thrive as their family situations change and evolve. Often facilitated conversations lead to clients being able to craft individual solutions that are more flexible than those achieved through traditional legal approaches.
Divorce mediation makes a bad situation better, not worse. I do both divorce mediation and representation on the South Shore. I charge $200 per hour for both services. I do not take a retainer in mediation; the parties equally split the fee for the number of hours we work together at the end of each session.
I am a negotiator/mediator in the Arts Culture Industry. I am the lead negotiator on the labor side for several Boston Orchestras. I have individual representation for principal player in a major Canadian Orchestra. I have over 100 mediated cases in Boston District Court Small Claims.
I have the desire to help mediate conflict between two parties who are willing to meet and discuss resolution options.

I bring over 20 years of Family Law experience which has enabled me to approach divorce in the practical and informed manner that mediation requires. My skill in dispute resolution and leveling the playing field is key to parties feeling that the process is fair and that the outcome is what they desired under the circumstances. Having litigated divorces, I enjoy sparing people the financial burden and emotional turmoil of that process. Divorce is inherently stressful and mediation allows the parties to resolve their disputes in a manner that enables them to maintain a dignified relationship for themselves and/or their children going forward.
Mediation is a humane alternative to litigation. Whether the issue is planning long-term care, dividing family property and businesses, updating parenting plans, divorce or dealing with post-divorce issues, mediation can ease the stress of coping with this issues, open lines of communication, and build a foundation for resolving future disputes as they occur.

Online Divorce Mediation (ODM) was created by an experienced family law attorney who was tired of seeing families torn apart, both emotionally and financially, by the contested and insanely expensive divorce process. His goal was to make getting a divorce more dignified, yet do so in a quick, simple, and inexpensive manner. At the same time, he wanted to focus on preventing a permanent wedge from developing between spouses to the detriment of their children, which frequently occurs in a contested divorce setting. ODM's fresh approach to divorce and innovative style, mixed with state-of-the-art technology, will assist in preserving and enhancing your family unit, with an emphasis on the best interests and needs of your children. All of ODM's mediators are certified in divorce mediation. They are highly skilled and thorough divorce attorneys who are able to negotiate family law matters, including divorce, paternity, child support, child custody, alimony, the division of assets and liabilities, and other family-related matters in usually ten (10) hours or less for a cost of $999 per spouse. This includes three (3) hours of mediation time with the parties, plus the time it takes to prepare a comprehensive divorce agreement, a petition for divorce filing, and the parties' respective financial statements.
