Josh was knowledgable, professional, and a great collaborative partner! He was open to my ideas with my music's production, and really put the time in to create an end product I was happy with. You can tell that he takes pride in the projects he works on, and is invested in the artistic process. I'd recommend him to a friend!

David has been teaching me guitar for a little over a month now. I have already seen great advances in my technique, rhythm, and understanding of music. I have been playing guitar for 9 years off and on, and I have never had professional lessons. I can say that after a month with David, I am playing better than I ever have and believe that my guitar playing skills will continue to progress rapidly with David's help. His teaching technique is very casual and fun, almost conversational, and his insights are spot on. He is exactly what I hoped for in an instructor when I started looking at guitar lessons and I would highly recommend him for anyone who loves guitar, regardless of their skill level. He is a 'must hire' professional!

I have known Christie since I was nine years old. I used to take lessons as a young child from her in both the piano and vocals. She is an excellent teacher and a true professional. She is very talented and is well versed in all areas of music; vocals, writing music, and even directing and conducting choir groups. I own some of her first CD's and her work is truly inspiring! She set the foundation for my musical experience early on and I continue to be passionate about music to this day. She truly helped me evolve as a singer. I would recommend her as a music teacher to anyone of any age, no matter what style of music or what stage of knowledge you have acquired, I believe she can help anyone attain the music level they are striving for. She is truly a pleasure to work with and her encouragement, guidance, and experience, as an artist herself, is what helps lead to musical achievement and success for any individual!

I'm a singer / songwriter who was trying to find a local producer to work with. (I'd tried working with a producer in NYC once before, but got cut out of a lot of the creative process and wanted someone local I could exchange ideas with). I had some things in mind about style and structure, but don't have formal musical training and don't play any instruments well. Before meeting, Peter & I had a phone call to talk about what I had in mind. Thereafter, we had a productive email exchange trying to hone in on genre for my project. (Sometimes he wouldn't get a chance to respond for a while, but that didn't bother me since I'm not on a strict timetable). I was pumped for our first session together! Over the course of eight hours in his studio, we took a melody and genre idea into a solid production (it still needs some tweaking) and sketched out an idea for another song. Peter was patient with my lack of technical understanding and questions, and I was patient with his process of reverse engineering chord progressions from my melodies. He's an excellent pianist! If I was an accomplished musician and had brought more ideas about musical structure/chord progressions going in, we probably could have gotten even more accomplished in that time. I'm very happy with what we've done together so far, and have scheduled my next session! He gets busy, so plan accordingly!

I've been working with the Hink Creations team since 2008 before Hink Creations came to be. It's always a blessing when you meet talented AND cool, down to earth people to work with! One of the first projects was a children's CD where Ryan Hinkle and I co-produced and wrote together! It's important to me to give back to the youth and this project is a huge step in that direction. Nikki Hinkle and I assembled and worked with a team focused on illustrating, animating, CD cover and web designing for this project and will work together for future endeavors. It feels great when long-term ideas come to fruition on a personal and professional level. Ryan and Nikki are knowledgeable and adept at carrying out the artist's vision through music production and web design and anything visual. This is because they listen well and communicate clearly and are passionate about what they do. The team would cordially point out areas where I can improve, strengthen and clarify in the music, poster and web design to enhance the quality of the project. We always moved steadily along; the balance of efficiency and patience! All three of us speak about ongoing education so there's humbleness in the room too which always helps to increase the quality of service. Nine years later and I still look forward to working with the Hink Creations team! You will be glad you made that decision!

Overall, from my perspective, I was impressed that Chris managed to keep such a wide range of kids (with such a wide range of abilities) interested, excited and learning new things. This is exactly what we need in our Winterim program and this was definitely a totally different and much more comprehensive “take” on the music industry as a whole than we have seen before. We have received all kinds of positive reviews, not only notes from the formal course reviews that all participants are required to complete, but also from parents and other faculty who witnessed the results. I have had the pleasure of using Joe Idzal's professional services at All Things Audio in Natick several times, and plan to work with him again in the future. As an experienced musician and music producer (I was formerly the production manager at Rykodisc in Salem, MA and freelance producer at EMI, Chrysalis and Sire Records) I feel qualified to recommend his services to anyone looking for high quality audio services, in an friendly environment and at very reasonable rates - I can personally guarantee you will a) enjoy working with Joe, and b) be thrilled with the results.

BKY MUSIC aka Brad has been tantamount in my career as a Hip Hop/R&B artist. Most of our working titles under Big Underground Music Publishing/Under The Hill Music Publishing have landed numerous placements over the past 10+ years on both cable/major television networks. BKY MUSIC has, (In my opinion), proven to be an independent leader in the music industry, (and I say this not because we've shared years of success as a writing team); but because Brad really has the ear, patience and flexibility that 'spect-jobs' require. Here's a couple if examples of the types of songs In collaboration with BKY MUSIC Brad in the past that have ultimately led to placement slots. PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG cued on Blue Mountain State (Series - Party Scene) http://youtu.be/fIB8DE3lrkQ SOON AS I GET HOME cued on THE FOSTER'S (Final Season - Love Scene) http://youtu.be/fgVzQyVHwGo Overall, I give a five star rating for BKY MUSIC as his workmanship, solid business practices and quick turn around time makes him the go to guy for any gig, (large or small). I have been taking piano with Josh for about 8 months now. I had another teacher prior to him, but I am so glad I switched, Josh is simply the best! He is patient, encouraging and really knows what he's doing. I love that he really listens and took the time to get to know me so that he could teach to my learning style. I was drawn to him because I was interested in getting a formal training all while learning popular music and having fun. He took my interests and ran with them so now I am mastering movie scores and hip hop songs while at the same time learning scales, musical notation and other parts of music theory. I would highly recommend Josh to anyone who wants to learn piano with a caring, enthusiastic, and awesome teacher!

Ian is a talented and patient teacher! I like that while we worked on the traditional lessons (e.g. scales and chords), he incorporated elements of my personal interests by letting me work with music I liked. He customizes each lesson for his students instead of a “cookie-cutter” approach. In terms of scheduling, he was very flexible. As a working professional and father, I would have to reschedule lessons occasionally and Ian would be understanding and helpful. I highly recommend Ian as a piano teacher for people of all ages!

Jim is a great producer and easy person to work with. His ability to make you feel comfortable in the studio is priceless, especially as a newbie. He never stops working until you are satisfied with the quality of music produced. I have tried other studios before, but Jim's studio seems to be the only one I keep returning to when I need something mixed or recorded. He offers an affordable price compared to other local studios out there. He maintains a professional and clean environment, and delivers quality sound.

I began taking voice lessons from Peter Hostage in May and have been highly satisfied with my decision to do so. If you are considering taking music lessons with Mr. Hostage, know that you can expect a high level of professionalism, a relaxed atmosphere, and most importantly, quality musical instruction. As someone who began singing at an early age, I have had the opportunity to sing both individually and as part of numerous groups. In just three weeks Peter has introduced me to technique that I had not been exposed in my 10+ years singing. I am confident that continued lessons with Mr. Hostage will enhance my vocal ability. The lessons are definitely worth the investment!

I take regular voice lessons with Tim and could not be happier. I tried lessons with others in the past but found them frustrating and made slow progress. With Tim, he immediately identified my range correctly (unlike previous instructors) and chose the appropriate type of training and exercise for my voice and the types of music I want to sing. In just a few short months, I feel that I have finally made real progress with my voice and my continuing lessons are always a highlight of my week. It's immediately obvious that Tim knows his stuff and is passionate about music. What I realized after a few lessons is that he also excels at communicating these things to his students in ways that are easy to understand and internalize -- essential when working with music!

I just hired Michael Moss at Soundscape Boston to engineer 2 of my projects. I chose to produce them at Soundscape Boston after meeting with Mr Moss and listening to the solid acoustics of the studio not to mention the exquisite design by Michael Blackmer. We recorded a rhythm section, string section, horn section and vocal tracking in the live room and Michael did a beautiful job on all the sessions. I recommend Soundscape Boston to any musician/producer who needs quality recording done with industry professionals within a fair and reasonable budget.
