I am committed to low-waste solutions and am a strong believer in re-using and re-purposing items in the home when possible. I hired Shannon from Ducks in a Row as a Christmas gift to my mother to come into our home and organize it. My mom and I moved here in August 2015 and have been living among boxes ever since. I work 6 days a week and my mother is older and partially disabled so there was little to no time for unpacking boxes and setting up things properly. I decided to Google personal organizers to see if there were such a thing in my area and Thumbtack.com found a bunch of professionals who had quoted me some prices based on what I was looking for. Shannon Rothberg came with wonderful references, was licensed bonded and insured, close-by and very affordable so I decided to go with her. Easily the Best Decision that I've made! Shannon has wonderful ideas and creativity, she works very quickly and efficiently and she put my mother at ease right from the start. What she was able to accomplish in 8 hours would literally have taken me weeks to do. I came home from work to an entirely different house and it was such a relief to finally see all of the clutter gone and my mom looking relaxed and happy! My mother's bedroom, my teenage son's room, our hallway, closets and even our Christmas tree were all organized and I couldn't be more happy with the results! :-) Shannon is just lovely and I will be having her come back to unpack and organize some more rooms after the holidays. I can't wait!! I highly recommend Shannon Rothberg, aka, Ducks in a Row, Absolutely terrific job and will definitely do the same for you!

I had requested help with organizing papers and personal belongings in preparation for moving. Shannon responded promptly and was willing to work with my schedule. When she arrived she was encouraging and efficient and equipped with stickies markers and labels. I very much appreciate her help and tips, and recommend her to anyone who needs help organizing. She is down to earth and genuine and professional.

I have known Shannon for many years. This summer Shannon did several jobs for me. The biggest of which was cleaning and organizing my playroom/office. What took Shannon less than 8 hours, would have taken me at least a week (without the kids that play in there or should I say 'reorganize' on a daily basis!). She had such great ideas, that actually work!!!! My playroom/office has stayed 'organized'!!!! I cannot thank you enough!!! You are brilliant!!!

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    The most common spaces within the home my clients struggle with are kitchens and children's playrooms. Basements are also a challenge for even generally organized families.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

    I have been finding ways to "give back" in my community and have offered my services as a giveaway for charity auctions. I have also offered my services free of charge to a few families struggling with illness. It is so rewarding to transform a home for someone who needs that space to be comfortable and positive while they spend many days recovering within it.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Many of my clients begin the process unsure. I may have several inquiries from the same person before they finally make the commitment to get started. By the time we are finished my clients admit they were apprehensive because they were unsure the cost would be a good value for the service. They always tell me they are so happy they made the decision to move forward and are so excited to share their newly claimed space with their family and friends!
