Introduction: Writing and reading have figured prominently in my professional life for almost 30 years. I earned an MFA in non-fiction writing at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop (where I was awarded a scholarship for my prose), have worked as a staff writer at a small publishing company, and have taught high school English for ten years at the Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Charter High School in Hadley, Massachusetts. I am now offering my services to students and professionals as an editor, proofreader, and writing coach. I can help you with school papers and essays, and will coach you on organization, grammar, usage, and finding markets for your writing.
