- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is done on a case by case basis. I am honest and offer itemized proposals after looking at each and every job. I keep the lines of communication open at all times and I try to be as accurate as possible about projected start and finish times.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would talk to the customer on the phone about the project, then I would visit the work area and speak to the customer about their concerns. Then I would email (or mail) a detailed proposal for the work to be done, based on customer specifications. Once we solidify the proposal, the work will begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I stay current in the technological aspect of painting as far as products and tools that make my work high quality and efficient. I also take classes for historical buildings, as most of my work is now in Massachusetts where there are a great deal of houses built before 1900 needing work and I want to be a part of preserving the integrity of the area.
