FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to have a pre-shoot phone or in person interview to better understand a client's vision for the shoot and desired outcome. Most clients have a clear enough idea what they are after for the shoot which I can then build off of using my experience and creativity to achieve the best outcomes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught and have dedicated almost all of my free time for the past 5 years to develop my craft. I have also taken an advanced digital photography course at New England School of Photography which was taught by the highly acclaimed professional photographer Kaitaro Yoshoka
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Call it a calling. My formal education is in computer science and engineering so I am intrigued by all of the technical aspects of digital photography. My education allowed me to quickly learn and understand all the facets of how a camera captures and interprets lite which other beginners may struggle with when first starting out. That was a great accelerator for me and allowed me to concentrate on the creative sides of photography and to focus on creating great images as opposed to snapshots.
