I have received help with multiple writing assignments in school, ACT tutoring, and supplement and college essay help. I do not know what I would do without Lisa! She has helped me go from a B english student to an A student. She has also done a great job working with me on my supplements and college essay. My english teacher and college counselor loved them! For my ACT scores, she helped me get a 33 on my first ACT in the reading section and helped me go from a 24 to a 35 in the english section.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system. Pricing depends a great deal on the specific needs of my students. Am I creating curriculum or using established curriculum? What is the distance we need to travel? How difficult is scheduling? How many sessions does a client want? Rates can vary from $55 to $125 an hour. We always seek to be fair while maintaining the integrity of our company.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always begin with a phone call to get to know the basic needs of my clients. Then I encourage an initial meeting to make sure we have the right fit. Then I ask parents to commit to at least 6 sessions to build trust and see progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 10 years as an English teacher prior to becoming a tutor. I have been tutoring writing, reading and test prep for the last 15 years.
