FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is very fair and competitive, as attested to by our past clients. We guarantee beating our competition if given the opportunity.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We initially reach out to the customer to try to determine the specific details of the request, the urgency of the matter, availability time, and any questions or concerns. We then schedule a visit to take measurements, assess the difficulty of the job, and provide a precise quote. Once we have provided a written quote, we invite our customers to shop around and compare. We are happy to engage via phone, email, text, or the Thumbtack platform. Our phone number is toll free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A large amount of technicians in this field have had no formal training whatsoever, but learned by spending time with others in the industry. When working with highly dangerous items like torsion springs, it is imperative to know the amount of force exerted by these parts, and how to best avoid any potential injury. Our technicians are all trained by the largest garage door company in the U.S. in a comprehensive two-week course every two years.
