"Reza.M is an outstanding professional in his line of work, not to mention he is a long lost cousin of mine whom I have had the chance of finally speaking to after years, it has been an absolute fortunate happenstance and a great pleasure to have been treated by him. I am very pleased with my ongoing experience with Reza, I haven’t been so much of a sceptic of alternative therapy as I am familiar with other practices that have proven to be effective. And so, when I stumbled upon him and his work I was more curious than doubtful and although I have never had the chance of being treated by alternative methods, I had high expectations and was looking forward to the experience. Reza has a wonderful way of dealing with minor obstacles. As I am overseas, our first few calls to each other, due to connection issues didn’t really go as planned which left me quite disappointed and left me feeling defeated. But Reza was quick to comfort me and asked me to stay positive giving me words of motivation and encouragement. This was the first time I felt that I would absolutely admire having him be my therapist. Once we connected and a couple of sessions with Reza, I understood the steps and the method in which he works. Reza works quick but well yet allowing you to take your time with your part in the process, he is very comforting and guides one well into therapy. I appreciate his skill, effort and hard work. Reza.M has a wonderful warmth and a unique way of showing you that he truly cares about your struggles and although he works quick (which is a good thing) he makes sure you are comfortable and with this you start to build trust in him, before you know it, you feel like your talking to a good friend. I have always suffered from rejection in my life. Reza has been the first person to make me feel accepted, flaws and all… This made me feel I was in safe hands. There wasn’t a single moment where I felt judged or any discomfort. This is definitely a quality I look for not just in people in general but in my Doctors/Therpist's. Hours and Punctuality: Reza.M is punctual and always checks with his patients the best time for them to receive therapy as well. It is a two way street with him and he allows you your space and your say when it comes to fixing up a time for sessions. He is almost always on time. I remember, because of my funny lifestyle he’s even let me get away wit a rain check or two. ( I wouldn’t suggest asking for one though) But he is absolutely a very easy person to communicate with. Which leads me to my next point. Communication: Reza allowed himself to be available to me and communicates with me often asking for updates and always checks on me which reminds me that he truly is invested in me and my struggles and is indeed committed to helping me. This re-ensures me his capabilities as a therapist. What has changed for me: I have multiple issues I deal with in various aspects of my life. Right from mental, physical, emotional, personal, financial and social. All of which have been addressed and acknowledged rather well by Reza from which he uses his techniques to put them into priority based on what affects the patient most. Making sessions a very organized experience which I prefer. It allows you to focus on one certain issue at a time allowing you to rid of it and move onto others rather than having to deal with a whirlwind of issues hit you all at once, something one might already be having a hard time coping with. This in turn allows you to prioritize and categorize your mental thought process and track your progress as well along with giving you the mental strength and power to state a clear intention in your sessions, which is part of the process of therapy with Reza. My first session is where I spoke of my anxiety and confidence issues I had bothering me to a grave extent. Reza determined that that session would be the right time to clear off that problem, we went into our session in which he was polite enough to let me vent out my frustrations about my issues. He is very patient and a good listener. Once we broke ground with each other and once I got the hang of the process we had many more sessions. Somewhere between the 3rd and 5th session I clearly noticed a huge difference in my Anxiety levels as well as in my confidence. (My Issues) Before I used to suffer greatly every morning as I awoke from bed with low energy and my head already shrouded in absolute chaos before I even opened my eyes. Once where I absolutely dreaded the feeling of leaving the house because of my confidence I would wear a mask to cover my face. I could hardly make eye contact with people around me, I wouldn’t go anywhere if the car windows weren’t highly tinted. Once out I never exited the car. These were my outings, my struggles. I was terribly afraid of people judging me. (The Big Change) After working through these problems in the few sessions with Reza, I noticed a massive difference. I woke up clear headed, with intentions of making my day as productive as I could. Anxiety was no longer my alarm clock. I didn’t have the feeling of being defeated by life and I started noticing a difference in the way I thought, spoke and behaved. I had become a lot more positive and my confidence was up by 30 percent I’d say. I finally left the house feeling good, unconcealed with no fabric draping my face. I looked out of the car window with no hesitation, and allowed myself to sit under bright white light without the fear of being judged by the people around me. I even had a family member express to me that I looked a lot more at ease with myself and a lot brighter and calmer in my face. This was an absolute big deal for me. Me being the frightened little girl that I once was, was now bold, became stronger and started to live a lot more fearlessly. Something I never thought would happen. And so,with these changes which seem tiny but were the most impactful changes I have seen in my life happen to me, I started to have complete faith in his work and I would regret it if I didn’t allow him to make changes to the other aspects of my life as well. I am looking forward to a free mind and a wholesome life with the help of Reza. I absolutely recommend Therapy with Reza, it has been a wonderful experience benefitting from his work. He is evidently good at what he does, his work definitely impacts your life positively. This is my honest, unbiased opinion and review of his good work. Sukoon Jamal"

What is Reiki and how does it work?

Reiki is a type of wellness bodywork, often referred to as energy work, that originated in Japan. Reiki practitioners offer this traditional healing technique with the intent of manipulating the flow of energy through the client’s body. Unlike massage, Reiki uses minimal — if any — pressure, focusing on stimulating energy flow rather than working the soft tissue and muscles. This movement of energy is done to improve mental, emotional and physical health. Reiki is touted for its stress relief and ability to ease tension. It can also improve mental clarity, release stress and tension, manage pain, or help with spiritual growth. It is said that Reiki practitioners act as a channel for a universal life force to help support a client’s natural ability to heal. Reiki sessions often last 30 to 90 minutes, with prices varying based on session length, background and experience of the provider, and where you live. Nationally, the average price range for a Reiki session is $60-$80.

What are the benefits of acupuncture?

There are many proven health benefits of acupuncture, whether you’re seeking short-term relief or need help with a chronic health condition. This alternative healing is likely why millions of adults nationwide get acupuncture treatments each year. Acupuncture provides pain relief, can help speed the body’s natural healing process, and has also been proved to have positive outcomes on mental health concerns such as depression. Acupuncture can also help relieve discomfort associated with chronic and terminal illnesses. For example, acupuncture has been proved to be effective in helping cancer patients manage pain, nausea and vomiting, fatigue, hot flashes, xerostomia (dry mouth), neuropathy (nervous system problems), anxiety, depression and sleep disturbances, according to Cancer.gov. Acupuncture is a safe and effective alternative to opioids and other pain medications, which not only are hard on the body but also present the risk of addiction. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services found that people had less pain or were better able to manage pain when they received acupuncture as part of their health treatment.

How does acupuncture work?

Acupuncture works by restoring the body’s natural healing powers. Acupuncture involves placing very thin needles into specific points on the body to influence the body’s energy flow and help the body heal itself in a natural way. In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is linked to the belief that disease is caused by disruptions to the flow of energy (called qi in Chinese) in the body. The acupuncturist places whisper-thin needles into the arms, back, neck and other areas where the chi (or energy flow) has been blocked. The acupuncture needles stimulate points on or under the skin called acupuncture points or acupressure points, releasing this qi. These pathways — called “meridians” — become re-stimulated by the needles to bring blood and healing to the body. In Western medicine, acupuncture has been proved to relieve pain and help provide healing and relief from painful symptoms associated with everything from headaches to asthma to cancer. Western medicine sees the use of the needles as a way to stimulate the body’s nervous system, thereby prompting healing.

What can be treated with acupuncture?

What is naturopathic medicine?

Naturopathic medicine is classified as an alternative healing method, but licensed naturopathic doctors share some of the same academic background as conventional medical doctors and can often prescribe some medications.
