- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a passion for flowers, and a lot of friends who needed wedding flowers. After everyone was married, then I was totally hooked on the process. There is an optimum moment, when all the flowers are bought and stashed in their buckets, and you have the day to create wonderful bouquets with them.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do wedding flowers, mostly, but also flowers for big celebrations, like Bat and Bar Mitzvahs.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Every bride is different and listening to her special concerns and interests is most important. Some brides need guidance as to flowers, but know their style loose and gardeny, vivid, compact, formal, etc.
