- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Top Industry Appliance Services Inc. offers 20% discounts on the labor portion to seniors, military veterans, and first responders. There is an initial diagnostic/ trip fee of $127.88 that includes a full evaluation of the appliance and return trip if any parts need to be ordered. LABOR & PARTS are additional costs and depend on what the repair would consist of. Labor includes a 30-day warranty, and parts are OEM(Original Equipment Manufacturer) that come with a 5-year warranty.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process is simple. I start by asking for the customers name, phone number, address, the brand name of the appliance, model # and a brief description of what the issue is. From there we set up a time and day to fully diagnose the appliance. Then explain what the cost would be to repair the appliance. No pressure on the customer what so ever through the process.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started my adventure with a family owned company that serviced and sold used appliances. Gained alot of knowledge on how to diagnose the appliances and also how to provide great customer service!
