- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We ensure complete pricing transparency for our customers. Every electrician carries with them a printed copy of our StraightForward Pricing Guide, which contains all of our pricing in print, for customers to review. Through our Club Membership program, customers receive a 15% discount, along with several other benefits, for as low as $11.99/month.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After scheduling an appointment with Mister Sparky, the customer will receive email and text confirmations. When the electrician dispatches to your home, you will receive a text notification, and another text notification when they arrive. Upon arrival, the electrician will ask a few questions to better understand the issue, then complete a quick inspection of the home's critical electrical equipment to assess its condition and safety. After inspecting the issue, the electrician will present the customer with proposals to address it, including financing options for the customer to consider. Once a job is authorized, the electrician will complete the work, then collect final signatures and payment only when the customer is completely satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our electricians are licensed and insured, and have several years of experience working in the field. They complete several days of training on the company's operating model and professional standards before entering the field. Before they are hired, each electrician is background checked, and they are subject to ongoing drug testing. We also complete ongoing customer service, safety, and electrical code training to ensure that Mister Sparky's electricians are the most knowledgeable and professional in the field!
