- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge $15 an hour. That usually covers up to an hour's walk, depending on the weather. If the weather impedes the hour by more than half, I charge $10.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with the owner and their pet, and I ask various questions and discuss my rules. We come up with a mutual agreement about how the pet will be handled. Generally, an informal contract is signed.
