The makeup Dawn did for my wedding was amazing! She did mine and a couple of my bridesmaids that day. Before she started she asked what I wanted and I told her I don't like to wear a lot of heavy makeup. Without me telling her what colors/tones to use she pick out some great colors that blended well with my skin tone. Becuase I'm not use to wearing a lot of makeup it felt like she used a lot, but in reality she didn't. It was the right amount so that it still looked natural in person and showed up great in my pictures. Dawn is a lot of fun to work with and at the same time she is very professions and does a great job! She was not only a guest at my wedding, but she continued her job as a makeup artis throughout the entire day making sure that my makeup was fresh throughout the entire day.

Dawn did the make up for my friend's wedding that I was in. I wasn't originally planning on doing make up for my wedding which was only 2 Weeks later but I was so impressed that I asked her if she could do my wedding as well. She did my make up, as well as 3 of my bridesmaids and both mothers and EVERYONE was so happy with it. She does an incredible job of highlighting everyone best features, using the best colors for each person. We all put our complete faith in her and were so glad we did! Would have loved to be able to review her work, as everyone's pictures look great, and I wanted to be beautiful on my wedding day. Unfortunately, even though she told me 1:45 at the latest (twice), she put me in her calendar at 2:45. After waiting a half hour, and having my friends try to contact her, my photographer told me it was too late and we had to go. One of my bridesmaids did my makeup. I missed out on being able to have first look shots, and after the ceremony, we had to rush through the formal shots to get to the introductions on time. Then it was too dark out for outdoor pictures with the beautiful fall foliage. I still had a great time at my wedding, but I missed out on a lot of photos I really wanted, and didn't look "special" and beautiful. She did seem like a nice person, and she did apologize, and I appreciate that. My advice: call her and don't just confirm the time, have her check her phone calendar and read the time back to you!

I unfortunately wasn't able to make the appointment for her wedding.. I was contacted through my Fb page very very close to her ceremony date -- offered her many dates and times for a trial appointment ,, as stated in my profile I highly recommend a trial to nail down details and wishes for the bride. I had a tightly scheduled Columbus Day weekend and was going to be less than 20 miles from her wedding site -- so I agreed by Fb message -- I admittedly put her in at 2:45 instead of 1:45 as she states-- I spoke with her bridesmaid to let her know I would be 5 minutes earlier than the 2:45 appoinent time-- she then told me it was an hour after the time she expected me and wouldn't wait-- I was already on my way!! I had no information on ceremony time or first looks wedding details -- I immediately sent her a Fb message profusely apologizing for the timing error.. And have offered her free makeup services in the future.. I disagree that I ruined anything that I had NO KNOWLEDGE OF!! I show up and perform to the best of my abilities at all times!! As certified by MANY MANY happy brides before her. It is regrettable that I would suffer greatly from a poorly arranged wedding aggreement but I understand her disappointment!

~knowing what you use daily, to what you use for going out or special occasions. ~realistic timing you have for makup be it daily or special occasions ~keep in mind I will not change your look completely unless that is your overall goal.
