Michael from Media Surge was a surprising find after attempting to procure video services from those vendors seemingly more established. Where others were telling us what we wanted or needed, Michael listened, where others offered limits to the services, Michael offered terrific ideas and options. In short Michael provided a truly custom service at a excellent value. He had state of the art equipment, knew how to use them all to full potential, and was the true professional at the event, seemingly invisible but everywhere - capturing the various aspects of the ceremony and the reception and providing the final video product in a compelling narrative set to music. Media Surge did a PHENOMENAL job making our annual build day video for Working for Worcester. Mike got some great footage of the entire project, before and after shots, some great live action footage, and really cool angles that all captured the entire essence of Working for Worcester. I worked with Media Surge over the course of 5 months to put together two videos-- one a brand video and one a more specific video about the event. The nature of our organization is entrepreneurial. Things happen on the fly, they change, they fall apart. Media Surge was incredibly flexible when working with us. They were professional, they created a great story line, but willingly incorporated our suggestions. There's no question they have the equipment, both to shoot events and to edit it. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I base my price off of estimated hours of filming and editing. If you are planning on being a repeat customer I will offer a promo price for our first project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Outline the details for the shoot, and then formulate a quote based on their needs and meet in person to go over the gameplan!
