- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing system is very simple: I calculate how many hours of my time each job will require. Since I am prompt, this calculation usually gives my client the advantage. Each job and each client is unique -- I take this into consideration and try to give the most fair quote possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Ever since I was young, I loved writing. I also started typing and learning Spanish at a young age. This made it easy for me to choose to make writing a profession. Although I have written creatively for many years, my professional training is in journalism and in writing high-end communications pieces.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of transcribing and typing jobs. In addition, I am an excellent copy-editor as well as Spanish translator. I type at around 80 WPM, so this makes my turn around time very quick.
