I worked with Ron at two newspapers in the Baltimore area, first as reporting colleagues at a chain of community weeklies and second as his supervisor in editing positions at City Paper, an urban alternative weekly.
At City Paper Ron served as copy editor and then calendar editor. Both positions required considerable organizational skill and attention to detail. Ron possess both in abundance. He managed large amounts of content on strict deadlines and always delivered quality. His editing and proofing skills are first-rate and I would recommend him for just about any sort of editorial heavy lifting.
