I prefer to know about the job before giving a firm price, because the complexity of an assignment can determine how much time it will take to be completed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We might start with a phone call to get an idea of each other's personalities and if we could work together. The project is discussed, and a schedule or meeting arranged.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied at The Maryland Institute College of Art after high school. While a student, I had jobs as a sign painter and at printing companies. I worked at an ad agency as a staff illustrator before becoming exclusively freelance.
