Hi, I’m Gaurav, founder of pAIrmatic. I’m a former PayPal and Amazon technology leader, and I built pAIrmatic to fix how kids get stuck in math. Most tutoring repeats whatever your child is stuck on this week. We ask a different question first: what’s the real reason this isn’t clicking? Often it’s an earlier building block, like fractions or integers, that quietly holds back their current work. How it works Free math check-in. It pinpoints the exact skill that’s tripping your child up. Free first 1:1 session. Your child meets their tutor, and the session targets that gap. Weekly live 1:1 sessions online. Every session works on what your child actually needs, not ground they already know. A written recap after every session. You see what your child worked on, how they did, and their homework. We work with grades 4 through 8. We meet each child where they are, then challenge them 1-2 grades ahead once they’re ready - progress earned by skill, not age. Start with the free check-in. You’ll see exactly where your child stands before you commit to anything.See more

I'll begin with the fact that I really enjoy teaching mathematics and technical topics. I emphasize the comprehension and appreciation of the central concept of what is being covered. Too often the "idea" behind a method is glossed over, or omitted. Once this is understood, the machinery and tools needed to solve relevant problems become more accessible. Then of course, I work with the student to drill and master the steps involved in finding solutions. I have several years of experience teaching undergraduate math at the university level, both class instruction and small group and private tutoring sessions. I have also tutored individuals, including HS students. Teaching and learning is a collaborative effort, and I adopt ways of explanation, and pace, which are creative, respectful, and suit the student.See more
