I have had Matt of Brightricity work on projects for four years. He is quick to respond, shows up when he says he will, works hard and quickly, works well with other trades, and produces neat high quality work. He is quiet and trustworthy. Other workmen love to work with Matt. They warn each other to watch out because Matt might knock you down when he is moving quickly. Matt has the attitude that there are solutions to problems and he is able to explain the reasons for the work that is needed. He is a pleasure to work with. He does not pad the bill. You will receive good value for his time due to his work habits. I own rental property and renovate homes to rent and sell. The properties are in prime Baltimore neighborhoods such as Butcher's Hill, Canton, Hampden, Roland Park, and Rodgers Forge. I would allow him in my own home without supervision. He has done electrical panel upgrades, new service cables, and has rewired entire houses for us. He can put up ceiling fans or perform the smallest electrical maintenance task. He has many years experience in commercial work as well. He has a can do attitude and is willing to work on renovations or new work. On a current job in a house built in the early fifties Matt discovered while replacing outlets that some electrical outlets were not grounded. The wire had a third ground wire which had been improperly wrapped around the wire leading to the outlet. He was able to unwind the wire and properly ground the outlets with it. When we put the house on the market a favorite home inspector's complaint will have already been addressed.

I've hired Brightricity on three occasions and they've provided first class service every time. Prompt, professional, and diligent. We have an old house in Idlewylde that we recently purchased. They've inspected and installed new electrical outlets indoors and outdoors, and fixed our internal phone wiring connections that were hampering internet service. Highly recommended.

We've had Brightricity do work for us on several occasions and we're always happy with the speed and quality of the service. We have a 130 year old Queen Anne Victorian and it's comforting to know a master electrician has done the work.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Brightricity is known for solving some of the most complicated electrical issues, but we also spend a lot of time doing service upgrades, troubleshooting lighting and receptacle issues, and installing generators. Nothing is too big or small for our team!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hire local. They will get to your job faster and with less fuel waste. Also it strengthens the community. Hiring local also fosters good neighbors. Maybe your neighbors have just gotten some work done. Ask if they would use that contractor again. Look for someone who does quality work efficiently and at a reasonable price. Sometimes paying a little more for a better quality job that will last longer and add more value is actually going to save or make you money down the road. Cheap work doesn't sell and is a waste of money. A lot of times you get what you pay for. For your electrical needs hire Brightricity llc to meet all your needs effectively.
