I am extremely pleased with Ken the Plumber's work. Approximately a month ago, water began flowing down from my upstairs bathroom to my downstairs dining room to my basement. When I went to the upstairs bathroom there wasn't any water on the floor. I told each plumber on thumbtack that contacted me the same story which is that my great nephew had just gotten out of the tub and the water level was high but no water was on the floor. Each plumber, EXCEPT Ken, said that it was probably my drainage pipes. When I talked to Ken, he was the ONLY one who said that he thought the issue was with my back flow valve on my tub. I knew instinctively that he knew what he was talking about. He took the time to explain to me what the purpose of that silver plate was on the tub underneath the fawcett. I had no idea that it was to make sure that the water level didn't get too high and flow between the floors. I thought it was just for to activate the draining of the bath water. When he explained it to me, it made a lot of sense. I told him to check it out which he did in a very prompt manner. As he expected, the valve was missing a gasket (which is a relatively easy fix) which he fixed at a very reasonable rate. It was not the more expensive drainage pipes that the other plumbers said that it was. Ken is very professional, knowledgeable, courteous and all around good, trusting guy. If anyone said otherwise, they were trying to get him to do the work for free and take advantage of him. He's very prompt and accommodating. He's even came out in the evening and weekends. He has since worked on several other projects in and around my house which I am very pleased with. One time I suggested that I may need work on something and he told me I didn't. A lot of unsavory plumbers would have said yes you do and taken my money. He didn't. He's my plumber for life and I stake my reputation on him. He's that good.

We recently moved into a home that didn't have an outdoor faucet. Ken rerouted the access and installed the faucet. He was courtesy and a quick problem solver. The only area we seek improvement is timing.

He installed a tub faucet and said he had to come back to install the spout. There was no water pressure. He said the house was old. Hired another professional who replaced the entire faucet for less, fixed the water pressure issue and tightened the main shut off valve instead of the $325 replacement estimate I got from Ken.

You told me I had to come back because you had no dry wall or tile on your floor. I never installed or replaced anything on the shower , you told me not to after you saw that the water pressure was low . Then you tried to tell me I damaged your shower handle when before you cut the shower on , I never touched it. Fixed it for free without payment or even a thanks. If you're going to write a bad review , please tell the truth. Thanks

Ken was an excellent choice, arrived day of to fix an urgent need (kitchen faucet replacement). Was very professional, very thorough, and was very accommodating to my schedule.
