Introduction: Hi there! I'm Phaedra, a mobile certified swim coach, instructor, and pool operator, which means I come to you (and can give you recommendations on what's going on with your pool). Based in the DMV, I travel up to 50 miles.
I provide a safe, fun and professional swimming experience with progress within the first lesson! I take the time out to assess the swimmer's challenges while working with them on their strengths to develop their swimming skills based in confidence and control.

LESSONS: WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical lesson usually runs about 30 minutes for children under 5, and 45 minutes to an hour for 6 years and older. I enjoy working with swimmers 1-on-1, giving us time to focus and build on fundamental skills so that we can progressively move to the next level. I also conduct semi-private and group lessons - add a friend or few to the party and learn together!
Lessons are generally routine when it comes to the essentials (bubbles/breath control, floats, kicks, coordination, jumps, front and back swimming & water entry/exit), but each lesson is taught with you/your child in mind.
