Hi there! I'm Phaedra — a mobile certified swim coach and swim instructor, which means I come to you. I collaborate with a small team of independent swim instructors to bring lessons to your door. Based in Baltimore, I travel up to 50 miles.
I provide a safe, professional swimming experience with visible progress from the very first lesson. Every swimmer is assessed individually — I build on their strengths while working through their specific challenges, developing real confidence and control in the water.🌊 NOW BOOKING THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2026!

Weekday morning openings (9-10am start times) — a limited number of spots for families who've never been able to get an early lesson time before.
PRICING:
- 30-minute lessons (groups of 3+): starting at $60/swimmer
- 45-minute private lessons: $75/lesson
- 60-minute private lessons: $120/lesson
Semi-private and small group lessons available — bring a sibling or a friend and learn together
LESSONS: WHAT TO EXPECT
A typical lesson runs 30 minutes for swimmers under 5, and 45-60 minutes for age 6+. We work 1-on-1 to build fundamentals — breath control, floats, kicks, coordination, water entry/exit — and progress each swimmer at their own pace.

Phaedra was absolutely wonderful with our daughter in her first swimlesson. We purchased a 4-week session and hope to continue throughout the summer! Phaedra’s attention to detail was phenomenal. Not only did she listen, but she recognized our daughter’s inabilities and helped her get over her fears.

My son had many varieties of swimlessons in his short life. But this is by far the most progress he has ever made! Went from goofing off in the shallow end to diving down in the deep end and picking toys off the floor. Thanks so much Phaedra!!!

Our experience was wonderful. Ms Pheadra was able to assess where our daughter’s current swim level was at the beginning and structured learning that was fun and engaging for her. She was swimming by the end of the summer independently. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for swimlessons that come to you :)

We had three different children with three different skill levels. Miss P was able to separately teach each child. One is much more common in the water, the second is jumping in and the third is swimming laps. Miss P is nothing but the truth. Even the neighbor started her child’s lessons and see nothing but success. Can’t wait to start this year.

Our daughter had ten consecutive lessons with Phaedra. Phaedra was patient, very adaptable and incredible when working with our daughter. In just the first few days, our four year old daughter was swimming the length of the pool! I highly recommend and we will definitely be using her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should expect to pay for a minimum of 4 lessons upon signup or at the first lesson. Discounts offered at 8 lessons booked in advance.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New clients should expect the first lesson to be an assessment lesson. Lessons thereafter are full lessons. Assessments are done every 8-12 lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have certifications in lifeguard training and I am a certified Water Safety Instructor. I'm also a certified lifeguard.
