FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing and packages are described in detail on our web site under "Solutions". Although we occasionally do smaller jobs, most of our video production is $1,000 and up. Please don't contact us for under $500 jobs that require both videography and editing. We can't afford to pay skilled professionals a fair wage at that price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Many customers already have some familiarity with our work. We typically talk by phone and/or email, then often have a complimentary meeting/project review before starting. We are happy provide a written estimate so the customer won't be surprised afterward. Our work is really varied, so it's difficult to describe the process after that because it depends on what the client needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have an MA in Producing for Film & Video from American University (2004), a JD (law degree) from the University of Maryland (1996), an MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ (1980) and a BA in Chemistry from Clarke University in Dubuque, IA (1974). I spent 20 years at Procter & Gamble in R&D before joining my husband full time in our family business, Tonal Vision.
