Introduction: For weddings, I try to give each one its own look. Some couples like a very clean, traditional look, while others prefer a more modern, almost Instagram style. I do the same with my portrait and headshot work. I prefer to not use a cookie-cutter backdrop. Instead, I try to match the location with the personality of my client, or my client's stated desires. I love to take pictures. I know it sounds simple, but making people look great, makes me feel good.

Dave was a God send on my wedding day. He was so patient and accommodating to us. The weather was not on our side and Dave was able to make the most of our outside wedding and the pictures could not have been better. I would highly recommend him for your special day!

It was a great pleasure to work with David Frey. He photographed my Wedding Reception in June 2012. David is a real professional. He met with us prior to the shoot and responded to all of our concerns. On the day of the event, he was well-prepared and diligent in his work. The best part - the photos themselves. I worked with David Frey more than once. One time for a book opening and once for a theater project. I will use him again and again because I can count on him to capture the moment precisely. He is professional in every way and his easy going manner makes people comfortable which is key to getting a great picture of them. He had great ideas for set ups, too, which was helpful to me because I didn't have my concepts fully developed. I highly recommend him.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The best advice I can give is when you find a photographer you like, book them quickly. Most photographers are small business owners and we spend quite a bit of our time trying to fill our schedules. Today, I may not book anything, but tomorrow, I may book three or four jobs. One of those jobs might be on the date you need. When you find a photographer whose work you like, and you trust them, and they are available, book your date.
