Unfortunately, I’ve had negative experiences with hired companies here on Thumbtack recently and have been so upset that I didn’t want to upset myself further by re-hashing the experience through writing a negative review. I decided it’s better for my blood pressure if I instead focus on recognizing people/companies for who do good work, and thankfully, Day and Night Plumber falls into this latter category. I contacted them for a free estimate yesterday and was able to get a quick appointment today (Sunday) at 10 am. When Lal arrived, he told me that the moving faucet in the bathroom vanity that I was concerned about would have to be replaced since the pieces that held the faucet in place were broken and not sold separately. He also checked the suddenly super loud exhaust fan in another bathroom and confirmed it was broken and needed replacement, but said they didn’t do this work and that I would need to contact an electrician. Regarding the sink, since I had mentioned I was preparing to sell the house, he said one of the pipes under the sink in the P trap section was too small and would come up on the inspection. He also noted that the toilet base was moving and said for the inspection it would need to have the wax coat and seal replaced, which was very helpful. He gave me a very reasonable price for the amount of work when comparing to previous plumber bills from other companies and we agreed on 3-4 PM later that afternoon when a team member would come to do the work. Later I left home for Home Depot and other errands and was actually running late returning to the house for the appointment but texted them via the app and they were very flexible with the timing. When I arrived at the house, Ro was already waiting and reviewed with me all of the items he would be working on, per Lal, before starting work. It took three hours to complete the work, and again, for that amount of time, the price was very reasonable compared to previous plumber bills. When reviewing the completed work later, Ro made it a point to flush the toilet and show me that it was again in good working order. For the new faucet I had purchased earlier, while it was installed firmly, the sink bowl still seemed to be filling with more water than I prefer, just as it has been before with the old faucet. Instead of brushing me off and telling me “that’s just how it works,” however, Ro was persistent in troubleshooting by making several stopper adjustments, snaking the pipe and finally replacing the stopper with one he had on hand which ultimately solved the problem. (Seems the old faucet and new one were from the same company and had the exact same stopper, hence the same problem.) What impressed me especially about Ro, though, is that he had also taken photos to show me the before and after of both the toilet and the sink pipes. Many times I have have had plumbers over from different companies and at the end they just present me with the bill without even offering to review the work completed, much less show me photos of the before and after. Note that Ro had also brought his own trash bag (which other plumbers have not done in the past) and cleaned up the area before leaving. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the prompt and professional service I received from Day and Night Plumber and would definitely be using them again in the future if I were staying in the area. Highly recommend!!!

Tuan arrived on time to provide an estimate for repairing our damaged pipe work and provided an estimate for the work we requested and also included a recommended change to our kitchen pipe work which was installed incorrectly by the builder. We usually go for a free estimate unless we need to cut the drywall. We charge $150 for cutting drywall.

We will bring our own materials, parts. If you have a specific one, we can pickup for you from local stores (Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc…)

We have different trainings. Drain line camera from Ridgid specialist and recently Backflow training from Master plumber.
