- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I believe that just about anyone can learn math and science, but many people run off the rails in elementary school (usually when they start learning fractions) or later (especially in algebra), and they give up and start resenting and even hating math and science. Unfortunately, they discover later on that they do need to understand those subjects, whether it's for something like figuring out mortgage payments or helping their children with science fair projects. My job is to help children and adults who want to learn math and science, and to show them that with a little patience and hard work, they can learn, understand, and even appreciate them. My basic approach is that if you are willing to learn, then I am willing to teach.
