Specific behaviors to address
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our Founder has several decades of training experience as well as two Masters Degrees: Psychology/ Behavioral Medicine and Applied Animal Behavior/ Canine Ethology. Unlike other trainers, we do not break up Obedience into separate courses of "Basic" and "Advanced", but teach Obedience as one complete course; accomplished in 8-12 weeks on average and resulting in dogs that are calm, stable and reliable on or off leash in any environment or situation. Dogs trained in this fashion are attentive to the owner at all times regardless of distraction and imbued with a sense of responsibilty. The most gratifying aspect of our business is the resolution of misunderstanding of the nature of our dogs and their specific needs in our relationship with them. Watching both owner and dog realize a calm assurance and confidence in their partnership is an amazing process. Their resulting ability to go anywhere and really share companionship without the typical worries of the usual "bad" behaviors allows our clients to share all their time, anywhere with their dogs.

3 1/2 years ago, my husband and I got a Rottweiler puppy. I had wanted a Rott for the longest time and when I finally brought my puppy home I was so excited! After a couple weeks we noticed that she was beginning to show some signs of aggression. If we moved her while she was sleeping she would growl and bark and try to bite us. The thing that really made us realize we needed help was when my husband tried to take a bone from her and she buried her k9 tooth in his thumb. I contacted several trainers in the area but I didn't want the same old sit in a circle and love your puppy type of training. I wanted to know how I could help my dog become a better, happier dog. I got Jack's number for K9 Kollege through a friend of my mothers and I gave him a call. Within the first 5 minutes of our conversation I knew I found the right trainer. We started our training with Jack when our puppy was about 12 weeks old and by the end of our first session she was walking on the leash right by our side, not infront of us pulling like most dogs want to do. We trained with Jack for 12 weeks and because of that we now have the sweetest, happiest Rottweiler around. I owe all of it to Jack because he taught us how to teach our dog. He sets you up for success and there's no reason for failure when you train with him. Thanks for everything!

If you are looking for the trainer who can make the impossible possible, Jack is your trainer. My dog Zeus (German Pinscher) was a vicious dog with multiple behavioral problems. We tried different trainers, but we thought things were hopeless. After losing all hope, we were at the point of returning Zeus back to his breeder, but we decided to give one last try and hired Jack. Thanks to his methodology and vast experience, we started to see changes almost immediately, after the very first class. His personal commitment and dedication to classes is also outstanding. He loves dogs (he has his own pack of 8), he loves teaching and he is just a very, very good person. Therefore, if you are looking not for just a dog trainer, but for a good one with a very positive personality and with broad experience, Jack is for you.

My husband and I don't have enough good things to say about K-9 Kollege. The trainers have been able to help us with our adopted pups and their knowledge has been indispensable. We only wish we knew about them before bringing home our first rescue. Luckily the trainers stepped right in to help correct some concerning behaviors after having our first for just a few months. What was prob most enjoyable was getting to watch each pup grow progressively more confident. We've adopted 2 nervous dogs, both in different ways, and now we have 2 of the most confident and we'll trained dogs. We get compliments wherever we go on how well behave they are. They sure make our lives more enjoyable!

Jack Eagan has saved the life our dog by teaching us how to help her learn to control herself. We were battling with her aggressiveness and dominance. He taught us how we were inadvertently telling her to be dominant and taught us how to correct OUR behavior. She is now submissive and much happier and less stressed that way. She has calmed down and behaves beautifully. She also is no longer dog aggressive. We absolutely loved working with Jack and his partner Ellie and recommend that EVERY dog owner enlist Jack to train their dogs, even if they are already well-behaved.
