May D. says, "We were sent two guys to move our extremely heavy 9' couch from the ground floor to our third floor main living area. We had a very tight space to work with and ended up not being able bring it up through the stairways. They suggested moving this up the balcony, which we were very concerned since we had a condo and did not want to damage anything. They used lift straps and brought it up through the balcony, although needing us to help assist since the material was so heavy. Anyone else, we thought would definitely give up. These guys made it happen for us. We were quoted $200 over the phone, but since we couldn't proceed with the original method, bringing it up through the balcony cost us $450, which were fine with. We ended up paying $30 for the lift strap since they had to buy new ones and letting them keep it. We also gave them an extra $50 so we paid $550 for about 2 1/2 hours of work, but let me tell you that anyone else would've given up the first 10 minutes. The furniture company even refused to send anyone to us so we were content paying this."See more
