Working with wood provided me with an ability to visualize, design, build and finish unique projects. This ability transferred to my professional career in corporate sales and business development. After many years as a senior corporate executive, I was afforded the opportunity to turn one passion other than my family, into a veteran owned small business. A couple years ago, I decided to paint my furniture white and put new pulls on them. It served me well for awhile but let's face it, I didn't do a great job and I really wanted something more modern. The truth is they just don't make furniture like they used to and I wanted to find a way to bring what I had into the 21st century. Out with the scalloping, in with the clean lines! That's where Leopard Designs came in and made all of my dreams come true! Craig was so great to work with. He let me be the the creative director on the project but gave really great suggestions and guidance where needed. He was communicative throughout the whole process and kept me updated along the way. I highly recommend using him for any wood furniture needs you may have. I couldn't be more happy with the way everything turned out. See before and after photos!

I gave Leopard two antique ornate side tables of great sentimental value. He was able to restore them to be works of art with careful attention to the details of construction and of the grains of the woods used. I cannot imagine a better job of restoration.

Craig was the utmost professional. We got so lucky to work with Craig, he kept us informed throughout the entire process, worked with our needs and made sure we were happy with the end product. We had Craig help us finish a table and he made the table look spectacular, we look forward to using it for decades. I appreciate that craig was patient with us about making decisions on the stain, finish and style that we wanted; he even stopped by to show us samples to make sure we were happy. I am a person with many years’ experience building furniture; therefore, I know quality woodwork and can judge the level of work performance. I acted as the general contractor and built my home over 20 years ago. Over the time, the front doors worn to the point they required refinishing. I contacted Craig at Leopard Designs and gave him the job to refinish the two eight foot doors. The exterior of the doors required a great deal of sanding by hand. I love to admire beautifully finished wood, if done right it is a work of art. Craig has produced a work of art and the front doors once again standout drawing your attention to the center of our home. I also gave him a job to reconfigure five conference room tables for my work. Once again, he did an outstanding job on time and within budget. His pricing is fair and he gets the job done without aggravation. If you have, refinishing and woodwork call Leopard Designs and you will not be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each of my projects whether it be in the studio or at the clients site are unique. In preparation to prepare a quote, I create a listing of all material and its respective volume and pricing. I then add my estimate of labor and present a total cost. In rare cases, I am able to provide a Not To Exceed (NTE) price and occasionally able to finish at a lower than projected cost. Generally, projects are fixed pricing. ________________________________________________________________ We now offer PayPal Credit providing NO PAYMENTS AND NO INTEREST if paid in full in 6 months on purchases of $99 or more.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Quite often people look at a finished product and only see it completed. What is extremely hard to visualize and appreciate is the detail and time that goes into creating an outstanding finished product. I tend to keep my clients involved by providing status and photos of the work being done. This helps in providing a more accurate achievment of their vision. "People Support What They Help To Create". Starting with the initial conversation, I strive to understand what my client desires, help them to understand the level of my effort by sharing a visualization of what they want and discussing it with them. Set realistic expectations of what will be done, the end result and timing to accomplish the project. COMMUNICATION IS PARAMOUNT IN DELIVERING CONSISTENT CLIENT SATISFACTION.
