Not sure what to say other than our experience with Capital Air Care was very poor to say the least. Initially our appointment had been set and they sent out an email confirmation (which is great and very professional) however the day of our first appointment they never showed up due to weather. It would have been nice to get a phone call knowing that was the case. NO CALL NO SHOW. We rescheduled and had them come out to sweep the Chimney as well as remove a Pellet Stove (a service they provide). Prior to them starting my wife had asked if we should cover our furniture. The techs at Capital care advised it was not necessary to cover anything. When they removed the pellet stove a thick cloud of ash and soot filled the basement and traveled throughout the house, leaving a thick layer of soot all over our tile floors, brand new furniture and electronics. The techs advised this was due to poor installation of the stove by the previous owner BUT knowing a poor installation could be a risk why not cover the furniture to be on the safe side? To this day our tile floors have soot within the grout, my xbox one died from all the ash inside (thankfully I had a warranty), our brand new flat screen tv was COVERED in soot. We spent 2 weeks cleaning the basement and still see signs of ash everywhere. If I could post a photo of this nightmare I would. Another example of their professionalism: When they swept the chimney they found that it had no damper, when asked for a quote the tech said to call the main office when we did the main office said to ask the tech. The whole experience with Captial Air was pretty terrible. The first 1 star and lowest rating of my thumbtack profile and I feel robbed.

They performed a Full House Duct cleaning for a family member for us. Their assessment required more than the standard cleaning and they were trying to get us to pay an amount that was ridiculous. If we didn't say anything the family member would have paid the original amount or not have the necessary cleaning at all. Communication with the office was not easy via phone or email and we didn't know if they were going to even show up until they actually called and said they were on their way. The staff was professional and considerate to our family member. The after effect was the heat in the house did not go over 65 degrees. Overall ok service and hope they figure out why their heat didn't work correctly.

My technician was very understanding of the situation in the household, and asked his manager to offer a discount + a free custom sized Electrostatic filter as a heartfelt consideration.
