Nifty Pro Movers were an absolute pleasure to work with. Moving is one of the worst experiences, and Nifty Pro Movers made the experience a pleasant experience. Christy in the office was incredibly professional and helpful with figuring out what my moving needs were. She was flexible, helpful, and quick to respond to questions. Christy made the booking process seamless. On the day of, our two movers showed up promptly when expected, were professional, and worked incredibly hard to meet the highest expectations. Our movers loaded their truck quickly, while treating our belongings like they were their own. Our movers unloaded at our new home quickly and communicated throughout the process ensuring that our furniture and belongings were perfectly placed as we wanted them. I cannot express how easy Nifty Pro Movers made our move, and they will be the first company I contact for any future moving needs!

I can't say enough good things about Nifty! We were moving alot of furniture and items from our DC apartment and the move would have been way more stressful if it hadn't been for Josh and Troy. First, the hallway to get from our apartment to the elevators is incredibly long and narrow so maneuvering our large furniture is incredibly difficult. They managed to do so without doing any damage. Second, when we got to our new home, they had to carry extremely heavy items up stairs with a tight bend. Again, they did this with no damage to the walls or furniture. Third, Josh and Troy went above and beyond when it came to getting the move accomplished. Our apartment building made the process difficult at every opportunity (unnecessarily prolonging the move) meaning Josh and Troy had to navigate winding streets in the dark. They were professional throughout the experience and moved as fast as any human possibly could to try to make up time.
I normally would never put this in a review, but the price we paid was well below the value of the service we received! I will be recommending them to everyone I know!

It was my first time using this company, and I will definitely recommend them to anyone. My move wasn’t really big but I can tell they can do all types of moves. They handled my furniture very carefully. They showed up on time and they gave me a heads up when they were on their way. They listened to everything I told him and they were very professional.

They did great and were clear on expectations which I loved. We contacted and booked our movers for 3 weeks out. I was nervous since we were moving from California to Maryland and wasn’t sure how the moving process would go. However Nifty was quite literally the best place for movers. They were quick, helpful, and got everything up to my apartment with nothing broken!! I will be using them again 100% recommend!

Nifty pro Movers were so great! If you are lucky enough to have Christy help you, you will be in terrific shape. Christy went above and beyond for us. Christy was smart, understanding, quick to respond, polite and friendly (if the owners are reading this, please give her a raise, she deserves it!!!) We recently had a move from Northern VA to Manhattan. We had contacted several movers before Nifty Pro Movers. They all claimed that they had experience in moving to NYC, but when it came down to producing the COI (certificate of insurance) that NYC apartment buildings require, they were not able. We had agreements with three other movers before Nifty Pro Movers, and all three of them could not keep their word. We had a time constraint and Christy/Nifty Pro did not let us down! I wasted a lot of time dealing with incompetent Movers and wish that I had called Nifty Pro Movers first. I highly recommend Nifty Pro Movers. They will get the job done, and you will be extremely satisfied!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Military and Senior 10% discount.
Labor Moving or Packing:
Rate: $69.00 per man hour with a minimum of 2 hours
Moving with Truck: additional $39-$59 per hour depending on the size truck

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to communicate directly with the client with a phone call to discuss and have a clear picture of the clients needs, if possible. We send an estimate to the customer through our 24/7 client portal from Nifty Pro Movers. From there, if the estimate looks good the client will approve it and it will turn into an invoice. Once Invoice is presented then a deposit for the minimum is due to hold date and time slot.We ask that you give us a 1 hour window to for pick up of furniture (items).
The day of our system will remind you of your appointment and you will receive a phone call to update you of the eta of your movers.
Upon arrival the movers conduct a walk through and take pictures of inventory and go over work order. Thereafter, it's time to get to work and that's when your time starts! You time end when the mover have completed the final task/job of you move.
During the moving process the dispatcher will check in with the customer. Our job is to make sure that you have a great experience and satisfactory service!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our staff receive in house and in field training. As well, as on going continuing training to make sure that all policy and procedures are completed accurately.
