Lynn was terrific with working with my existing artwork in a new place . . . she listened to what was important to me, what I thought of her specific suggestions, and also made some suggestions for me about future interior "improvements" such as chair buying (only when I asked). A very small job for her, most likely, but done superbly.

Lynn provided insightful advice about hanging pieces of art including oil paintings and antique maps. She hung about 25 pieces and is returning to hang the remaining 30 pieces. She was meticulous in positioning each piece and extremely careful in the way she treated both the art and the walls. It took a bit longer than I expected but was well worth it.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate of $110 to install a client’s artwork. The installation encompasses reviewing the items to be installed, formulating a plan of where to install the artwork and executing the installation.
I have an hour minimum for local jobs and a two hour minimum for long distance travel.
Clients are responsible for parking reimbursement.
I accept Checks, Cash, Zelle and Credit Cards. (with convenience fee added for CC payments)
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The client reviews my Thumbtack quote and profile, decides to contact me and we begin the discussion of their exact needs. I offer my insight, share more pertinent information and we decide if we are a good fit. I can discuss similar projects that I have completed and how the client benefited from my service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
While my college degree offers a platform to professionally deal with all types of clientele, I am self-taught as an art installer, art consultant and framing designer. During my 42 years running my own business, I have attended many professional art exhibits, seminars and classes and have learned extensively from others in the art and framing business. I constantly study design and pride myself on exploring current trends while abiding by sound industry standards.
