Cesar was great to work with. He showed up on time, with all the possible tools and materials we might need, and worked alongside me to install some trellises in our garden. Would definitely recommend him to others!
We hired Trenton to put together and install a gazebo that we had purchased from Costco. We are very pleased with the finished product and will recommend Trenton to all that we know. Definitely A+ service!!
Rob is excellent. I set up a project for Handyman as we moved into a new house to install over 25 curtain rods and he actually came that night, after fitting me in that day. He was there late and came back the next day to finish (which he surely did not need to come that night, but, I was very happy he did). He will definitely be our Handyman. I will be hiring him to install outside lights, TV brackets, etc.
Robert, and his assistant, showed up on time at 9 am and worked until almost 9 pm at night to finish the task, which was more difficult than any of us had imagined. They put together a 10' x 12' hardtop gazebo for me and the end result was great. They were professional and courteous and did not complain once about the difficulty of the task, or the various hiccups such as misaligned screws holes and pieces cut incorrectly from the manufacturer. I would highly recommend them for any assembly or handyman job you might have.
Antonio was excellent! He arrived on time to install my front door. He did a perfect job putting the door, painting it and cleaning after. I will hire him again and I recommend him without hesitation. He's done better than Home Depot or Loews including the price.
Communication was quick and easy. Stavo came over the next day. I had two toilet seats installed. They were both installed very well and Stavo removed the old stuck seat and cleaned the outside of the toilet with disinfectant prior to the installing the new seats. Stavo also fixed a loose hinge.
I hired Antonio (Tony) Sanchez from Renaissance Restoration to complete a kitchen renovation this past fall (sorry I did not get around to completing this review sooner!). I did all the demolition, but the job included lights and electrical, plumbing repair, cabinet and counter top install, appliance install, and painting. Tony gave a very reasonable estimate and personally worked on my project with his assistant from start to finish as opposed to having one of his employees complete the job. As he began the job, he soon realized that virtually nothing from the original construction was square (townhouse was built in 1987). However, that did not phase him as he had the skills to adjust making those imperfections unnoticeable in the end. In addition, Tony has skills in most of the trades which meant that he did not have to sub different parts of the job out; he did all the electrical, plumbing and carpentry himself. The best part of my experience working with Tony was that he discussed and explained different options or ways of completing a task to ensure there were no surprises, and I was impressed with his willingness to even teach me a little along the way. He was flexible in allowing me to have a friend install the tile floor and was understanding of my need to stick to a rather tight budget. There are only two comments I could make for overall improvement: cleanliness and timeliness. On a couple of occasions, I had to discard empty food containers and drinks that had been left behind. I attributed this to oversight and could be easily improved by making an effort to clean up the work site after each day of work. Considering it was not a space I was using though, it was not that big of a deal. As for timeliness, the project took longer than expected to complete. However, I know that my involvement did have some impact on the schedule and the fact he was doing the work himself while still managing other jobs is a factor. I would not hesitate to bring Tony in for another project in the future. I am completely satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.
We recently selected Baiza for our paver sealing project. Marvin and his crew have done a great job to meet our tight timeline with great quality of work and competitive price. They cleaned the front driveway and backyard, installed sand and sealer and finished the cleaning. The weather was not cooperative with us but Marvin tried his best to handle the impact of the weather on the project and gave us the best result. Marvin is very detail oriented and he found there were two sharp pieces of stone on the retaining walls at our backyard left by the previous contractor. He mentioned it to us and showed to us it is not safe to the kids and he got rid of those sharp pieces for us. His true customer oriented service is excellent and we are very satisfied with his work and would like to recommend his company to our friends.
I hired him to do the backsplash for my kitchen. He took his time to finish the job, he also install my kitchen faucet. excellent work. Very reliable. If you want your house to look like brand new he is the right guy.
Sheldon was so kind and accommodating, and our shower was installed perfectly.
I hired E.Y. Construction to replace a window in my master bathroom, install marble tile with a mosaic inlay on all walls, porcelain tile in the floor, a onyx river rock on the custom shower floor, and granite on the shower threshold and half wall. I hired Naser because all his references had nothing but good things to say about him.... Wow they were right. All the workers were very professional, neat, and paid attention to detail. The bathroom window and tile job looks stunning. I am confident it was done above standards and will last well beyond my lifetime.
Cost was reasonable and job was done right away and completed within a reasonable time (by 2 men). We hired Valle for another job after the fence installation too because we were happy with their work.
Learned about Curtis' company through work he did for a neighbor who was extremely satisfied with his work. They allowed us to see the work he'd done on their master bath and it looked great. We had our townhouse kitchen renovated by them. Curtis provided a very comprehensive estimate which detailed some items we hadn't considered such as daily clean-up, the payment schedule, and how receipts would be handled for materials purchases. His estimate came in at the middle of 4 estimates we received for tear-down of the original kitchen, new cabinet installation, tile floors and backsplash with some electrical and plumbing thrown in. He was able to accommodate an earlier start date when the cabinets we ordered were available earlier then expected by 2 weeks. He and his 2 assistants worked efficiently and more importantly they took care when doing the demo (and throughout the project) to protect the hallway floors and other areas of the house from dust, dirt and debris. They worked very efficiently and by the end of the 2nd day were starting on laying the tile floor. Cabinet installation went smoothly and he was kind enough to point out a couple items which we needed to report back to the cabinet makers regarding some bowing. Overall the project took approximately 9 business days from start to finish with a few small visits to finish up hardware, trim and reinstallation of the dishwasher once the counters and sink folks (separate company) finished their piece. His 2 assistants were equally pleasant and made us feel comfortable so we could ask questions as needed. We plan to use Curtis' company Oddjobs.pro again for upcoming bathroom renovations and some other work we need done.
Shane was able to come and install a shorted GFI outlet within a few hours. He was honest, professional and completed the work to give my family peace of mind.
Had a small but challenging project! Challenging due to my walls being terribly uneven and the project of putting up crown molding and making it look like perfection is a task!! Well AB Solutions made 'Perfection' happen!!! They were on time...in fact a little early...friendly...professional...and my Living Room and Hallway Crown Molding is simply amazing!! I have many future projects I would love to see done in my home that he looked over for me...gave me ideas about these future projects that I had not even considered! Offered cost saving options and creative new solutions!! My future projects include carpeting, kitchen remodel & some landscaping that is desperately needed!! THEY DO IT ALL!!! They leave their workspace spotless after they are finished your project like they weren't even there!! AB Solutions and my home will certainly have a long standing remodel relationship!! Thanks a million once again for a job well done!! It was a pleasure working w/your team!! Kudos!! 😊
Very pleased with the install. Will most likely rehire and recommend to my friends.
Norlan was great, was the quickest and best quote, he advised on his labor separate from the water heater of my choice. He picked up for me and just added to the total. He also pointed out damage to the new water heater from Home Depot and offered to exchange it on the spot which I was thankful for. Did not take the old tank but we did not discuss this before and I had to go to dump anyway. I will use Norlan again and have retained his contact info for future work. By the way, the install seems to be fine and working perfectly.
Mr. Handyman is a passionate professional that performs above and beyond the bar. He responded immediately with a rough quote and came out to our home to complete an on-site estimate, paying attention to the details of the scope of work requested. He also identified some areas that we were unaware of which showed us he knew what he was doing. We decided to choose Mr. Handyman and we are very happy with our decision. Our project, which consisted of framing and installing drywall, had a tight schedule, yet Mr. Handyman and his crew were committed to completing the job. They were timely arrivers and good with communication as they updated us daily on progress. The completed outcome of the project was satisfactory and professionally done as we asked for. These guys are dedicated workers and we hope to have more projects with them in the future when new funds become available because they DO IT ALL!
I have to say all of the above for working with Navid’s Construction: quality, professionalism, responsiveness, value, and punctuality. Navid’s Construction worked tirelessly to get the job completed in a timely manner. Navid would keep in touch with us from start to finish. Navid company remodeled two of our bathrooms with professionalism. Soon Navid’s Construction will be installing our den flooring, and we looking forward to it.
Winthorpe Design and Build renovated our kitchen, bathroom, living room and family room and they did an excellent job. Scott and his team are totally professional. They designed, purchased and installed tile flooring, tiles walls, concrete counter tops and fixtures. Dave helped us solve a problem with a door and window that were leaking into the kitchen and living room. Krag designed everything and helped us select the tiles, counters, fixtures and everything we needed. Most importantly, they worked well with us as a family, making it as convenient as possible for us. I strongly recommend Winthorpe Design and Build Joan Washington D.C.
Alonso was very reasonable in price. He was creative in his suggestios but not a "pushy salesman." He was contracted to install a deck and at the same time fixed our front stoop issues at a discounted rate.
