A lot of back and fourth, Presented one quote in writing, once we accepted the job he changed the quote and pretended he didn’t know what I was talking about.
He will say he’s not interested in the job then come back and inquire wbout the job. He likes to play chicken to see if you will fold.
Original quote had quartz w/ lights included. Then he tells me he never said quartz and offered granite (no biggie) then he took away the lighting, charged $1200 then said $800 to put the appliances back. All of this after we decided to work with him. Super aggravating, on to the next.

Brandi, we stand behind our pricing and our decision not to move forward with this project. You are absolutely entitled to obtain multiple quotes, and we respect that. However, publicly sharing our company’s estimate while leaving out important context does not accurately represent what occurred.
MEG Remodeling invested significant time reviewing your project, discussing options, preparing your estimate, and making revisions—all at no cost to you. At that point, we were the company investing our time and resources into your project, so comments suggesting that we were “playing chicken” are both inaccurate and disrespectful.
We are a licensed and insured general contractor focused on quality work. We will not perform additional scope for free simply to secure a job, nor will we compromise our business standards to become the lowest bidder.
Once it became clear that our expectations and budget did not align, we chose not to move forward. That is our right as a contractor, just as it is your right to choose another company.
We wish you the best and hope you find the right contractor or handyman to meet your expectations and budget.

The best renovation experience ever. If I needed anything else done to my home I would not hesitate to go to MEG remodeling. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you will not be disappointed. All in two weeks, my kitchen makeover is unbelievable.

There is not one word that can truly describe how happy and excited I am about the work done by Melvin and his crew. He transformed our old, run-down, outdated kitchen into a fresh new space that I can't stop staring at! Melvin repaired drawers and even built new cabinets for me right on-site! He's definitely staying in my contact list for referral and my own future home needs. The pics say it all! Thank you, Melvin and team!
We are so extremely pleased with the work Melvin did on our kitchen. A near complete remodel - painted cabinets, re-orientation of gas cooktop, replacement of countertops, reworked electric, new appliances installed, and cabinet lighting. His attention to detail was outstanding and he was very accommodating to our detail requests as well. Not only was his work very impressive, but he’s just a great guy to have around during the 6 weeks that it took to get the work done. We would be happy to have him back for additional work. Highly recommend Melvin for any project he is willing to take on

4- Once approved, we assist with scheduling, material selections, permits (if required), and project planning before construction begins.
