I reached out to Sharmayne to ask if she could give my bestie a makeover for her Engangement party two days prior to the event, as well travel to her location, and fortunately for us, she said she could. Then I asked if she could squeeze her daughter in at the last minute, and she agreed as well! Boy am I glad she did! She was a pleasure to work with! Her prices were reasonable; she was professional, extremely flexible, and EXTREMELY patient with us! Unfortunately, on the day of the event, things didn't go as planned. So she ended up having to wait for over 30 minutes before she was able to get started; but she waited patiently, and had a pleasant attitude. The icing on the cake was her flawless work, and attention to detail. Needless to say, my bestie and her daughter were beyond pleased with the outcome because she did exactly what they asked for, with a bubbly personality to go with it. They absolutely LOVED her! So thanks for not making me look bad Sharmayne! 😂 I was taking a huge risk, and it paid off BIG TIME, become you are truly a makeup artist DIVA! We will definitely be working with you again! Keep up the GREAT work!!

Prom is a very special time in a young woman's life and Sharmayne helped make this day for my little princess nothing short of perfect! She responded to my request right away, made sure all our questions were answered and provided videos of looks she has done. My daughter was so happy with what she saw and heard, that we booked our appointment right away. Sharmayne arrived to our home on time, prepared and wasn't afraid of the dog, who is very protective of my daughter... She even managed to make him feel comfortable. I truly appreciated that Sharmayne took care and time to explain to my daughter each little thing she did and every application of makeup making my daughter more comfortable. My daughter was so gorgeous, I almost didn't want her to leave the house...but she did and she had a wonderful time. Sharmayne is a true professional and an expert in her craft. We will certainly call on her again soon!

Sharmayne was a pleasure to work with, professional, and did a great job with my makeup for a glamour headshot photoshoot! The makeup looked fantastic on camera! I decided to tone down my eyebrows a bit after she finished, but I'm sure she will accommodate your desired look as long as you specify your needs. She left me with a touch-up bag with some of the makeup essentials to keep the look fresh, which I really appreciated. My makeup looked great all day!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A deposit is required in order to secure an appointment. I book on a first come, first served basis and I do not hold appointments if a deposit has not been received.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to speak to my clients prior to servicing them in order to fully understand what they want. For my bridal clients, consultations approximately 6 to 8 weeks before their wedding is a must.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I frequently take instructional courses/ lessons from well known and established artists. The field of make-up artistry and the techniques are constantly changing, so it's important for me as a professional to keep up with what's new and popular.
