Our experience with Friendly Movers was overall an excellent one. As I was shopping around for a moving company, friendly movers stood out due to their value and customer care. When I first called to book with Teresa, I felt a bit overwhelmed and did not fully understand every aspect. Teresa took the time to explain everything to me so that I was able to understand the whole process. This really helped because there are always unforseen circumstances. Teresa's thorough explanation helped the move go more smoothly as I was able to prepare for the movers better (by disassembling some furniture myself). On moving day the movers came within their stated time frame. The movers were courteous and efficient. They did not seem to waste any unnecessary time, and packed everything professionally. I was very impressed that my glass china cabinet made it unscratched into my new second-story townhouse. Overall Friendly Movers provides professional service, had courteous workers, and provided a very fair price for that kind of service. A+!!

I cannot praise this company enough. If there were 10 stars possible, that would be my rating. From the first contact with the receptionist every communication was clear, articulate and helpful. Lian arrived on time for my estimate, was very communicative regarding the complexity of my particular situation and figured out how to efficiently and economically complete this job. The gentle men that came on moving day were bright, intelligent and extremely hard working. They took great care in preparing the furniture for loading. They never took a break and worked endlessly throughout the day. Upon arrival they took great care in unloading and setting everything up as needed. Absolutely every single part of this entire process was completely perfect. Again I can't speak highly enough of this entire company. Very very grateful that they assisted me in my somewhat complicated move.

I've set my move way about two months in advance I touched base with Tyra G. We set up everything for 8/27/2015 @ 8 am 2 guys the total was 351.00 I sent the $100.00 deposit way in advance via check and I paid the difference at the time of the move cash , first of all at no point Tyra informed me they had a window of 2 hours , all the communications I had with her was 8 am on 8/27/2015 I even have a confirmation that states 8 am it was 8:30 am and no sign of the movers I rushed to get them coffee and doughnuts and be at my place @ 8 am , when I called that's when she stated that they had a window of 2 hours obviously I was very upset I even spoke to her on Tuesday 8/25 at 9:45 am and she confirmed 8 am . The movers showed up at 10:33 am no call was done letting me know they had truck trouble I also arranged my own storage I have Tyra G. The address to my storage the movers thought they were taking my stuff to there storage , bottom line " Friendly Movers" suck and they are not that friendly the 2 workers were very nice and between them and myself we took care of everything I was moving boxes and carrying furniture because I wanted it done quickly and be ware of the free wrapping items , they will charge you if you use more and beware of the hidden charges they say they don't I was going to use them if all went well but no way , not recommend them at all , they are not reliable , if you want to want to have to wait 2 and 1/2 hours for the movers and get frustrated and get a headache go for it, because that's what you are going to get if you use them , they are terrible

Hello Enid (Nina Marvin), We want to first apologize for the inconvenience we may have caused you with the mix up with the time of arrival, as we've tried to explain yesterday morning. It was a clerical error that the correct time of arrival 8 - 10 AM was not stated on the estimate. Every move we do has a two hour window of arrival because of unforeseen incidentals that may occur. Which happen to be the circumstance on the day of your move. As you know, the truck that was scheduled to be used in your move has developed mechanical issues while on route to you and to ensure that your items will get to the destination safely, we have decided to send you a replacement truck. and as you witnessed yourself, the trucks exchange was done at your place of residence at around 10:30 AM. The estimate that you've received was for a total of $351, and that was exactly what you've been charged not even a penny more, you were not charged extras for materials since you had full service move that included all the materials, there was no any other hidden charges as you suggested in your review. To prove it we have uploaded your signed contract and a copy of the estimate that you've received. As for the movers, you have mentioned that the guys were nice and you had no complaint about their professionalism and work ethic. In summation, we are disturbed and disappointed that you had felt the need to write this review on our firm especially since most of the information that you wrote is inaccurate. Your move may not have been a five star move, but it definitely was not a 1 star move. The estimate we've provided you was accurate, the movers were nice and professional, and although we had to send a second truck to replace a disable truck, we still managed to start your move only a half an hour later than what we thought was your arrival time, in this kind of circumstance, even a 2.5 hours delay while it is very frustrating , it may be understandable. Again we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Thanks, Management

Wow! I am amazed at, and ecstatic with the EXCEPTIONAL, COURTEOUS, HARDWORKING, AND DILIGENT service I received from Friendly Movers. Allow me to be more specific so that you as the READER do NOT dismiss this posting as a sham, or staged posting. My name is James, I recently relocated within Maryland, and I enlisted the services of Friendly Movers. To start, they arrived promptly! Unfortunately, they arrived to my resident a person short due to security and access restrictions (i.e., I resided on a military post and one of the movers inadvertently forgot a necessary piece of identification for installation access). Initially, I viewed this as a problem as I had quite-a-bit in the way of quantity and mass to move, and they only had three (3) to service this entire load. However, never in my wildest imagination could I have predicted these movers’ fortitude, tenacity, perseverance, and dedication! Specifically, Oscar and Saoub (please excuse the spelling, or rather misspelling) were absolutely AMAZING. The third assistant was also helpful in the overall process, but the first two gentlemen were EXCEEDINGLY diligent, hardworking, dedicated, assisting, focused, and tenacious. THESE MOVERS WERE AMAZING! I am so glad that I invested in their service; it cost me a pretty penny, but it was well worth the expense. I am a believer that one pays for what one gets, and QUALITY is what I received. Lastly, but important to know is that everything didn’t go as planned. We had a minor mishap in which an item was slightly damaged. However, the administration, specifically Tyra is exceedingly helpful in resolving this matter, thus far. This should lend creditability to this post, knowing that everything doesn’t always go as planned; however, it is a much better situation when the company is assisting in determining an amicable solution, and does NOT leave customers in limbo. I will keep you as the general public and potential customer abreast of developments in this situation. Thank you Friendly Movers for the wonderful experience. James

After hearing horror stories about moving companies, my wife and I were scared to death about choosing a reliable moving company. Fortunately, we chose Friendly Movers and we were delighted!! From the estimate, down to showing on time, the attention to details,the crew was polite,and above all.. Proffesinals !!? We highly recommend this company!!!
