It was a Sunday morning when I called Nonstop in desperation when my prior moving arrangements fell through at the last minute and I was up against a deadline. Moe, the owner of the company, realized that I was at wits' end. He was extremely professional on the phone and quickly calmed my anxiety and put me at ease. He then pulled a proverbial rabbit out of his hat and dispatched a crew of three to my house three hours later. The crew was just as professional as their boss. They were friendly, attentive and incredibly efficient. The made short work of a very difficult job. Even understanding my desperation and no doubt realizing he could probably command any price for the amazing last minute response, Moe quoted reasonable rates and honored his quote with no surprises and no hidden fees. The price quoted was the price I paid. I have moved many times and without question this was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Frankly, the service and professionalism on this move equalled what I experienced on a fully company paid, no expense spared, corporate relocation contracted with a national mover highly motivated to keep my Fortune 500 employer happy. I have also had nightmare experiences with fly by night local DC area movers, so I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly of this industry. Without question, if you aren't using Nonstop, in my humble opinion, you've chosen the wrong movers. They are the best there is --- if there were a sixth star for going above and beyond all expectations, I'd have given it here.

Moe and his team were great! He was very responsive and flexible about our move. He asked for a list of items to give us both a good estimate, which was a reasonable way to do it. Some places have you fill out exhaustive inventory forms to give you astronomical quotes. Mike and Tom were punctual and friendly and did a great job! In the time of Covid we stepped away and let them do what they do and we’re pleasantly surprised that they wrapped and carefully padded the items we did not. There were a couple dings, but I guess that’s what we get for moving heavy ikea furniture. This was a great experience at a reasonable rate with no hidden fees. A few guys doing great honest work. Thanks ya’ll!

Mike and Tim promptly arrived on time. They assessed the work and devised their plan. After organizing the boxes, they wrapped furniture. Once they started to load the truck, it fell into place like a jigsaw puzzle. Everything was secure and not one box or piece of furniture moved after my seven hour move. My wife and I had 53 years in the Army and many moves. Mike and Tim exceeded all the previous movers. They were curteous and professional. This is the company you want to move your household goods! Well done!!
