I thought from the beginning speaking to James that he had my back, his words 10x over and over again. That he would be the cheapest yada yada. The movers themselves were great and quick minus the light they broke in the new basement and failed to tell me about it and a few other minor things not worth mentioning. I got quoted 575$ for 3 hours and 2 movers. They didn’t show up until 9:30 and we ended at 1 so why exactly did I put 159 down and 621 at the end? I’m not great at math but that seems way steep considering. So you have that! Then when I spoke to James the last time before the move I told him we had more than I thought, originally I said 25-30 totes then it changed to 40+, he said no worries as long as all the big furniture is accounted for. When the truck arrived the boys said, everything is not going to fit, well why didn’t you bring a bigger truck? We told you what we had AND I told you at the end it was more, which the mover did say they have bigger trucks. So yes, they moved majority of my things but I still had a lot of foot work to do when they were done. Not to mention, when they moved my things they packed 2 really big boxes that were EMPTY TOTES. Even noted on the box. Why would they pack empty totes especially being shown AND told do not pack them because I didn’t use them, I’m going to return them. So the room those 2 big boxes took up could have been my things to move. Just all in all a shit show. I’ve never used movers before but nexT time I’ll pay the bigger price, it’s true you get what you pay for. But in this case, I got scammed! Look out for James he will play to be your biggest fan/family, he’s a sweet talker! Only giving you what you want to hear to lock you in. OH AND DONT PAY CASH TO SUPPOSEDLY GET A 5% DISCOUNT. Where was my discount paying almost 800$ Then he will tell you not to tell the movers how you paid the deposit, he wants them to think you paid with debit.
